Yeah wait until they get to hear about pairing it with sausages, potato mash and shrimp sallad wrapped in a Swedish flatbread. Tunbrödsrulle and pucko was the best drunk food ever when I was you.
Well… There is a drink called Lumumba. That’s when you mix your Pucko with rum. And during the winter it’s served warm. And for your notice the bottle is designed for use in a microwave oven. Because it’s even better served warm. Brings out the flavours. …and well. Be a Pucko is a description of a person who’s a bit retarded
These are some of the Swedish classics that you tried. Trocadero and Pucko are two very loved drinks here, both from the 1950's. Champis is the oldest of the bunch and is 111 years old, from 1910 to be exact. Festis is also very popular and exists in many different flavors. The cactus-lime is also a favorite of mine, really refreshing during warm summer days, just like you said. Fanta Exotic is also quite popular here but it's probably only been around for 25 years or so.
Fanta Exotic is extremely common here in Sweden. You can literally buy it in every store, pizza-place, gas-station or wherever you buy drinks. I have to be the most common and liked Fanta flavor after the original. You should try it together with pizza. It’s a perfect combination!
Fanta exotic is so common in sweden that it's often found as flavor on the drinkingfountains in almost every fastfoodplace (McDonalds, Subway, Burgerking , Pizzahut for example)
I think Fanta Exotic is mainly orange, passionfruit, peach flavored. But it also say black currant, carrot, lemon, aronia and elderberries. Festis is a still drink from the 1960s. "Fest"="Party". "-is" is a a common ending to make something a noun... Who shall I explain this... The word "bästis" is like "bestie" in English, bäst is best. Originally Festis was sold in pyramid shaped tetra pak. Not many cactuses in Sweden (except in flower pots) but I think there was some time I don´t remember when all the companies tried to make the most exotic flavor mix they could think of so there were a lot of mixes like "Gooseberry Yuzu", "Loganberry Guarana", "Golden Kiwi & Cucumber" to get people curious of some flavour they hadn´t had before. Most just hang around for a season, but this cactus-lime one has been around for quite a while, it´s quite popular. Fruktdryck utan kolsyra, Frukt=Fruit Dryck=Drink Utan=Without carbonation. Basically non-carbonated fruit drink. Yes, Pucko has been around since the 50s in Sweden. And yes, it´s something you could get at a hot dog stand. Pucko and a "tunnbrödrulle" is classic late night food. Tunnbrödrulle is wrap, a flatbread with two hot dogs, mash potatoes and a mayomix with shrimp, it´s a classic. ( Check out the video where the famous chef Anthony Boudain visited Sweden and had a Pucko and tunnbrödrulle: "Anthony Bourdain orders En Tunnbrödsrulle...tack")
It's a little late, maybe, but you are supposed to shake the "Pucko" before opening, otherwise all the cocoa will be at the bottom. When I have it, I turn the bottle upside down and shake vigorously until there is no dark brown spots left at the bottom. Then I know it's well mixed.
Oooh, thanks so much for the great recommendations!! They tested Champis and Trocadero in a different video on the channel, but they haven't tried the other ones yet! We'll put them on the list! :)
Yeah, you eat the hotdog or burger first, and then you have a nice cool dessert in a glas bottle afterwards. You can buy giant ones at the supermarket too.
Pucko in my old home city is grilled hotdog in a bun with mustard ....then mashed potatoes and shrimp salad on top ....it is called half a special (two hotdogs is a special)
I haven't had it for decades but I was never a fan of Pucko. Which gets me strange looks whenever I mention it. Really enjoy Fanta exotic and Festis cactus lime though.
I think it is a bit too sugary and too little chocolate for my taste. Definitely chocolate milk. But Sweden seem to have high standards on our junk food compared to other parts of the world.
Of course it's cactus... that's what it says it is. Pretty sure it would be illegal anyway. Cactus is yummy. Should have told them pucko also means idiot. Where the hell is julmust?! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Pucko with a late night burger or hot dog is the staple in Sweden 😁🤙
We'll have to give it a try - sounds like a good excuse for a party! Thanks so much for watching! :)

Would be fun if you test Julmust. Special drink we have on Christmas and a very special taste. It’s a typical swedish drink.
Yes!! We love Julmust, and I'm sure Tony and Gabby would be excited to give it a try! :) Great idea!

I remember Fanta Exotic being even more common than the original flavour maybe in the late 00s at least.

This is awesome!! Thank you so much for all of the great info!
you forgot to mention festis slogan, för god att kolsyra (too good to carbonate)
@@Templarofsteel88 That´s the slogan of "MER" not "Festis".
I guess you live like in the North of Sweden…?
Here we buy kebabrulle. 👍🏼

Pucko is great with any fast food! Especially mash potatoes and meatballs with everything on it ;-)
i am so hungry now it's ridiculous ;-)

Nothing can go wrong with a "Pucko".
i dont understand why fanta exotic is only in sweden, it's the best fanta flavor
Pucko. Please shake it!!!! Hopefully they did :D
Haha, yes!! We made sure to shake it before we had them test it. Thanks for looking out for us! :)

No wild growing cactuses in Sweden. I dont know why there need to be, we got imports too.
Agave/lime still water… With real agave chunks.
