I wanted this one so much, but I knew I was never going to get a chance because it would get snapped up. So glad you got one and gave us this video review!
In my opinion, the surge is not only the king of the Letherman tools but all multitools so far. I would like to see another one released that tops it up, whether by size, number of tools, or variety of these tools.
Also I forgot to say! I am happy that you were at least able to get one of these! Because you are sharing it with us and we do appreciate it so thank you for that! And you enjoy your Leatherman garage 40 anniversary! Brother
I tried. Was on at 12pm. Had the tool in my cart at 12. Went to my cart to complete the purchase at 12, website kept crashing. By the time I got to my cart, the site said I have a sold out product in my cart. When I chatted with someone at Leatherman, they basically said “Sorry about your luck, better luck next time.” I’m okay with it though. Like you said, the Arc is basically the same tool. Love your vids.
I am happy to see you got one! Love the colours and everything, excited about the Arc but I am more than happy finding affordable 2nd hand Waves, Daicamping Dl30 and etc. because I can afford them, can not be affraid to use them and can lend them to people almost carelessly. I can't wait to see Arc being released but knowing that already new Charge TTi is 1/4 of my monthly income after tax, I know that it would be a while before I get one. Not because I can't but because I love my multitools and enjoy using them instead of babying them.
Thanks for posting a high-quality video with close ups of the tool! I did try and buy this beauty, but I didn't have quite the luck of you. At least I still have $300 and my life is good (think positive thoughts Jeremy). I really would like to know why Leatherman does a limited production number rather than a limited time to purchase the tool. My thoughts on the benefits are as follows: if they made it limited time (like at least a day to purchase the tool), then the market demand would be much closer to being met, it would cut down on scalpers, a much less frustrating purchasing experience, they earn more revenue, and higher number of community members giving feedback on the design. The downside I can think of is they would then have to make the tools after the fact, and thus would probably be more difficult to plan into their schedule. I can see the rational for limited number when they first started doing these garage releases. At that point, reducing supply and skyrocketed the demand would guarantee the weirder/prototype designed products selling. But at this point, I don't think there's as much risk to them since they know the more diehard community likes these tools.
I got one! I have been carrying the P4 for close to a year and was excited about this #5 release. Anxious to see your updated video on the P4 as the more I carry it the better I like it.
Commented before on one of your videos my thoughts on the garage. I’m still not a fan and even tho they say it’s for testing things out, I don’t understand how they can get an idea of how the ideas they’re testing are working when folks buy em to sell em at crazy markups - But even more curious is how after 5 runs from the garage they haven’t figured out how to get their site to handle these launches properly. Deff excited for the Arc tho!
People have been commenting the Free series P2 and P4 have some 2nd class tools wich originated in tools like the wingman. It appears to me that with the Arc Leatherman is introducing a basic and a premium line based on the free series. And I can imagine that the improvements were planned from the start of the Free a few years from now.
Leatherman Wave was released 1988, maybe a year or two after its release I purchased one. For me another Leatherman is not a consideration. Now, I am looking at the Swiss Army Knife (SAK) Victorinox line of knives. The Huntsman model because of its feature-set, size and weight and my needs it is what I am leaning towards. It does not have pliers, yet for an EDC I may well be able to do without pliers. Also, pricing for SAK is considerably less than Leatherman. Although for many years I have a Sheffield multitool in the glovebox and Leatherman in my pocket, it may be time for a change; just looking.
Love the color scheme on this one. I actually don't think the tools are better than the Wave. Yes, the knife is great in Magnacut but I have a willion other knives that are better than on multitools, not just this but all multitools. But love that white and brown color more than anything, looks very elegant.
I got my shipping confirmation last night and am stoked. The buying process sucked though. The only reason I got one was because I work from home and was able to click on the link the second it was active. I view the garage series as collector pieces due to the limited numbers. I don't plan on selling mine, but admittedly I only got it because I knew how much it'd be worth.
Seams to me instead of taking a layer for the micro bit driver develop a adapter that would go in the bit driver. As a tradesman I have never needed the micro driver not saying it isn't necessary. The Surge has a very good reamer/awl.
Hey maxlvl, any interest in demonstrating the disassembly of the plier pivot? I haven't got mine yet and was curious if the spring was going to go fly or what. If you're brave enough to be the guinea pig, that is. 😂
The P2 seems like it would be a great upgrade over the Wingman (my current EDC), save for the fact that it's so long! It's a bit confusing why they didn't make it more compact over all than the P4. But it's bigger than even a Wave in all but thickness (and that, not by much). Really wish they had actually taken the design and applied it to another size, rather than just making one with more tools and one with less. The Arc will at least justify its size by being able to compete with the toolset of the Wave/Charge.
I was going to get this and my page kept freezing at the cart and then it was sold out. I believe it sold out in 15 minutes, but since I was having trouble, it felt like a hour or 2. I tried with my phone data and my laptop was wired internet. I was pissed but I just used that money to pay some bills and I am over it. It's like you said, we still can get the Arc. I have a few multitools, so I am good. I bought the SOG Powerpint as well. Thanks for taking the better approach. That helped me stay positive a little better. 😀
Was expecting the scissors spring to break 🤣 J/K Magnacut is nice tho. Looks like the tool I modded my Wave into. As for how I feel about Leatherman, as long as I have the Wave, that I modded, I'm happy. If I lost it, break it, whatever, it'll give me an opportunity to see what else is out there. I dont EDC it any longer, my modded Swiss Army Knife Cybertool M fits my EDC needs just fine, I only use the Wave for projects.

I wasn't able to get Garage 5 because of the website crashing. I literally still have one in my shopping cart. I considered getting one off ebay. As of 8/21, they are going for $550 buy now price. The reasons I won't are because if I need to send it in to Leatherman for any reason, I feel like it could get confiscated since my info won't lineup with original purchase info. Also, if something on the tool breaks and Leatherman determines they will reimburse the purchase price of the tool (this is the case with the warranty on Garage series tools, not LM's regular lineup), the original buyer will get that money, not me. Then of course, because I'd be paying double the original price and the issues I just mentioned, I would never use the tool, so why buy it? (not interested in the collection aspect). Finally, I saw the leaked introduction video for the Arc and it seems it won't have the plier adjustment screw or spring loaded pliers so while I'm still hyped for the Arc, it's been reduced a bit.
I'm looking forward to the Ark. The missing bit driver on the P4 was a let down for me and I've been holding out as long as possible waiting to see what Leatherman is going to do next.
Bought one on eBay. The scissors are the best so far by Leatherman. Snips 550 paracord on one pass at the tip, just like large Victorinox scissors. Much better than Surge scissors.
Nice Dominic glad you got one. I've never been a fan of these limited editions not because they're not cool or good tools perhaps but always felt like they're money grabs for the companies..any company not just Leatherman. Like they're saying, 'Lets promote the hell out of this bump up the price and shorten the purchase window so everyone has to race out to buy it's Reminds me of people lining up or camping out by stores on Black Friday. Anyway it does have a nice tool set but I have to admit I'm still a Surge fan boy, like that tool set alot 😉 thanks for posting
I had to refresh the page probably 20 times just to get the Garage #5 in my cart. I had it in my shopping cart and then had to refresh another 10 times or so to get to the payment screen. When I got to the checkout, I missed putting my security code for my credit card the first time. It declined my payment, and when I finally got that info correct after another 10 refreshes, the Garage #5 was out of stock. In the end, I figured it just wasn’t meant to be and that I would get an Arc when they’re available in a few months.
I wonder if there are any videos of people beating the hell out of the garage tools. I won't buy a tool if I'm not going to use it. I love the tool set on this and the Arc except the lack of a serrated blade. I'd even be cool with a combo edge on a multitool. I like my serrations out in the woods
I own one leather man and that’s the wingman and it just broke. Not even from use from just sitting 🤦🏽♂️ I’ve been daily carrying the multi force and its amazing. I also have the Gerber suspension nxt but I find the multi force just to be all around more comfortable. Probably gonna purchase a surge second hand was looking for something larger but similar to the wave
I have six or seven leatherman models. I also have 3 Gerber models. Of which the center drive is the better of all. I am a old school 300 ST user. I also carry my Surge quite regularly. I just bought the Free P4. Getting use to it has been interesting. Please post the desinger of that sheeth i dig it. Nice review
Why do they do the specialized limited sales on these? I’m sure many people that use Leatherman products would like to see and have the opportunity to purchase these.
I have to look up the Arc now because I haven’t heard of it coming. I did get one of the few 40 Anniversary and I would still have preferred it over something more mass produced coming out later as it is very unique. I have been a Leatherman guy since 2010 when I picked up a Supertool 300, Still use it every day! I have since grown my collection to Skeletool, Crater 33 Knife, Sidekick, Raptor Rescue, Signal, Free T4, Original PST and I got off eBay and Leatherman fixed for me and now the Garage 40 Anniversary! I find it hard to believe they can improve on their current lineup, I hope they don’t start releasing new tools as quick as apple releases iPhones as it cheapens the image. Love my Leatherman!
I use my wave+ daily and the wear and tear shows, I can’t imagine the disappointment when I scratch up or weld splatter my Louis Vuitton multi tool. It was nice looking though
Thanks for showing the sight adjuster too. I can't remember if it is the box for the bit extender or the Leatherman website (or both) that states that the bit extender has a magnet which it does not. Maybe we all should do a class action lawsuit against Leatherman to correct all the wrongs that they are doing to all their loyal customers.
P4 with the same small inside tools as Garage 5, but pointy awl and work in a little file. I use my serrated on fibrous materials more than any other tool. P4 file sucks but it’s a file that will work in time. No serrated blade capability on Garage or Arc.
I think you WOULD use the reamer/awl for sewing if were necessary to repair some heavy fabric or leather in the wild and you had nothing else for a needle or only gross cordage for thread. Of course, you wouldn't use it for normal sewing, who would? I found the color scheme really growing on me as the video progressed. I don't particularly care whether the pliers are spring-loaded or not; the convenience added is, to mu mind, extremely marginal, and it seems like just an added thing that could go wrong.
First of all - Congratulations! You got piece of a dream of many Leatherman funs ) And thanks for sharing this video. When I've checked the possibility to buy one they where out of stock already. Do I waiting for ARC series?.. Still not sure about. In terms of tools there's nothing new for me (I own 4 leathermans and few other multitools too), the Free platform provides this "balisong" opening.. but you can open even supertool in the same way, just not so easy. )) Do I'm going to buy one from the start of the sales? Definitely no, I prefer to check it in the local shop first.
nice! kinda disappointed that pliers don't open one handed. maybe the spring loaded mechanism needed that stiffness. Mine is not even shipped yet. guess they are busy processing orders.
I'm excited about the ARC and looking forward to it. However, I was mad and disappointed about my experience trying to order the Garage 005. I was sitting at my computer at exactly the time the garage 005 popped up and put it in my shopping cart. But it wouldn't accept my payment. My card was good so that wasn't the problem. The website kept crashing, 10 minutes later it was all over and they were sold out. I hope the ARC has the same pliers, spring-loaded and with the screw, that the Garage 005 does.
I was curious about the Garage. I actually got through, while at work. The white just put me off. I think the 5 is a great tool set, but I’m excited about the Arc. My Juice S2 just won’t necessarily be supplanted in its work role.
Yeah it sucks brother I tried to purchase one of these and they were sold out super fast! That is wrong they should have made more of these they would have made lots more money than they did because there is so many people that want one and are willing to pay the ridiculous price that they have put on this product! I am just mad that I didn't get one
gorgeous multitool. I want to have one but I'm afraid I couldn't since .... leatherman don't want to accept payment from my country. Only thing that stops me from buying P4 was absence of universal bit holder. If I couldn't manage how to get Garage #005, I will buy Arc
Well I have been banned from Leatherman's site because I sold the #2 Garage release on eBay. So I cannot buy anything from them. A friend of mine tried to get this for me and had it in the cart and it would not let him checkout because the site was so bogged down. Then they sold out. So this process of what Leatherman is doing is horrible releasing limited quantities and then you cannot even buy one on the site because they cannot handle the crowd. You got lucky getting one. I am glad you have told us about the Arc. Of course I will have to get my friend to buy it for me and pay him back.
I'm in the same boat. I'm severely tempted to sell mine given what they are going for on eBay (looking at the ones being bid on not the buy it now prices) right now. Then buy the arc and pocket the difference
@@TheSimplecanadian exactly! I've lost a couple of leatherman's over the years and I would be heartbroken to lose something like this. I'd be too afraid to carry it even though it looks like a phenomenal tool. And I'm not a collector so I wouldn't be happy with not using it.
Can all the tools be replaced? Looks like it might be more repairable than other multi tools witch would be nice, still think I’m going to stick with my Goat multi tool though
Very nice but i hope the Arc doesn't friction openeing pliers like the waves etc and spring pliers which feels so cheap to me. I really hope they don't do that. I'll just pimp out my P2 with the new bit holder instead. I prefer the P2 over the P4. Smaller, slickier etc. ✌🤘
I'm excited for the Arc, and it MIGHT actually replace my Charge AL as my daily work carry, the first Leatherman since that seems like it might actually be better. The Free series was technically fascinating but a step down in functionality from the charge (which I realize is just a Lexus Wave), and nothing LM has done since seems like an upgrade. The Garage 5 is very pretty, lots of neat details, but too nice to actually use - and too valuable and expensive
I'm in the same boat although mine moves to Open on Friday.. still waiting.... Ridiculous they can't even use the excuse of unprecedented demand as there's no doubt they knew full well they'd sell out same day so why not have the logistics in place to ship them.
@@maxlvledc I wish it were the case but I also bough spare bits etc (not intending to flipping mine) I guess it could just be ranked by time order was placed. Still I can forgive the shipping companies but 5 days & it hasn't even left the warehouse is poor show especially for a premium product.
Don't give up hope! Mine was like that until yesterday afternoon. Then I got UPS tracking info. I was starting to worry because the pending charge even disappeared from my card for about 12 hours!
Finally came :-). Only gripes are it should have come with bitkits and a holster that had pockets for the bitkits at the price ... and that the bit extender that I got at the same time grabbed the bit and wouldn't release. Leatherman is sending me a new bit extender and a replacement bit - hope that the new extender doesn't have the same issue
Little disappointing tool set. Would like the main Magnacut blade to be a drop or clip point. A secondary sheepsfoot blade, lose the eyeglass screwdriver. Maybe replace the two bit drivers with one 1/4" driver. Hopefully the production model is improved.
Leatherman's "Bad Gateway", bots, and the random lucky few win while hundreds of genuine, (once) loyal customers, and their company image lose. This is not the way.
Their website can't handle the garage traffic. I basically bought one but didn't get one. Submitted order with CC info but nothing happened. I'm not mad but it's unfortunate.
I'd like to see more innovation: Certainly, the idea of 100% completely interchangeable/replaceable individual tools at will has occurred to someone besides me. This would allow the tradesman, hobbyist, outdoorsman, and soldier alike to be able to "build" (and change!) tools at will for any purpose or mission. For example, I am a radio amateur, and I NEED a several gauge wire stripper. Like one the "old" Leatherman Radio shack version of the "squirt" has. Or being able to REMOVE THE BLADE when I still need the other tools but I'm traveling and the whole TSA thing is a hassle. Or if an individual tool BREAKS, as sometimes they do. This would make ANY multitool incredibly versatile. The multitool market is also being diluted with a LOT of Chinese Alternatives, and if you think a Chinese tool is always cheap in quality, you're just kidding yourself: Chinese quality is getting better and better, and always at a GREAT price point. And, there's the Swiss multitool which sure it's expensive, but coming right in at quality at that price, and VERY well thought out. The Chinese made Nextool Mini has the scissors AND the pliers AND the can opener AND the bottle opener. And it's lightweight and cheap. And pretty well made IMO. FINALLY, and this CAN'T be underemphasized: I've never cursed a CHEAP tool that I had at the ready that got me out of a pinch on the road. Or when camping. Ever. Ever! Super finally, in ALL multitool advertising, I'd like to see the weight, in GRAMS (and NOT goofus Ounces!) listed right up front. (And "yes" I know Chinese tools (setting aside the nextool mini) are usually heavier, cheaper alloys, etc.) All of this is PRECISELY why Leatherman MUST win the game with INNOVATION. All the Best! 73 DE W8LV BILL
Don't get me wrong, I love tools, but I didn't realize how many people were infatuated about Leathermans. I bought a Gerber and was completely satisfied, but then I bought a $25 multi tool for a spare and love this one. With this $25 one, I couldn't imagine spending over $100 for a multi tool.
@@devatwell334 The quality of my $25 one is great and was recognized by it in the reviews on Amazon and on RUclips. Do you think after a few years the Leatherman would be outdated? Does the warranty include loss?
@@lancepittman5066 No, it doesn't cover loss. But outdated? The Leatherman Wave was pretty much the go-to multitool for many many years. I don't think "outdated" is really a thing for this type of product. Yeah, they come out with cool new stuff like the Free series and the upcoming Arc - but most people who are happy with their Wave or Surge aren't going out and buying another one. But Leatherman does want to make sure they keep innovating, they don't want NEW potential customers to see them as too oldschool.
I will say that I like it. I could never afford it myself. Even if I could afford it myself I would be afraid to use it and damaging it. For those who we’re lucky enough to get one congratulations. But if I am paying for multi tool I want to carry and use it.
Here's my thoughts on leatherman in general as a big edc gear guy. Ive personally moved away from multi tools. I carried a charge plus the titanium one, im not a leatherman collector or enthusiast im only here cause it had a magnacut blade, it was a great tool that I no longer carry daily. No not cause of the weight just cause the inherent problems of the tool. I carry a dedicated knife evem though mine is s35vn I think maybe s30v doesnt matter I was never impressed by it simply cause of the handle or tool attached to it. Then I hate having my screw driver offset so that annoyed me along with the subpar proprietary bits. The scissors I actually really liked and used and rarely id need or want a file. The most used tool for me was the hook blade. Made a great ziptie cutter. I moved to just carring knipex pliers and a big idea design bit bar I believe screwdriver. Yes dedicated tools but I use them so regularly that its worth it for me. The thing that replaced my charge plus is squirt ps4. I love that tool. Tiny has great pliers that removed many splinters. Great scissors. Thats what I want and use. Personally my perfect multi tool would be that size. Replacable cutters on the pliers. The hook blade. The scissors. And put in the replacement bit option and thats it. Thats all I need. Of course you could add maybe alittle more but I love small multi tools. Not so much bigger ones.
Was almost success with buying it on their website. The website was shutdown from minute 1😂 by the time it worked everything was sold 😢
I feel you, it was frustrating.
Yep I didn't get through either I'm fine with just waiting for the arc so no big deal

Wow. Actually too pretty to use. Free P2 is my fav edc by far. This is making great greater!!!
My budget doesn't allow me to purchase leatherman products. However they look beautiful. I'm jelly
Mine was in the cart and once I hit check-out, it was out of stock. Now it's on ebay for $500+ probably.
That is NOT anodizing but cerakote, which is a massive difference
Bought one on eBay. The scissors are the best so far by Leatherman. Snips 550 paracord on one pass at the tip, just like large Victorinox scissors. Much better than Surge scissors.
This is the exact tool set that I wanted and a P4 and why I stopped carrying mine and went back to my charge TTI
Didn't even know I'd be able to pick this up really was bummed thinking I missed out thanks for the info good videooo
Why Leatherman doesn't sponsor you ?
In the end, I figured it just wasn’t meant to be and that I would get an Arc when they’re available in a few months.
this is the best set me for me ever. but i use my awl all the time. but im not spending 500+ to 3000 get numbered leathermen.
I wonder if there are any videos of people beating the hell out of the garage tools. I won't buy a tool if I'm not going to use it. I love the tool set on this and the Arc except the lack of a serrated blade. I'd even be cool with a combo edge on a multitool. I like my serrations out in the woods
I was lucky to get one but waiting on the ARC to actually wrench on stuff when this thing is already selling for over $1000 on the secondary market.
Nice catch, lucky you! Really nice multitool, I would ditch the mini scissor for 2d Phillips, and it would be perfect for me
I own one leather man and that’s the wingman and it just broke.
I have been a Leatherman guy since 2010 when I picked up a Supertool 300,
Still use it every day!
Got one. Leatherman is a marketing machine. I use the charge cameo and that’s all in need but I have 4 more display pieces.
I'm still waiting on the Arc... if it's priced reasonably, I'll buy one.
Really looking forward to the arc been rocking a Rebar for 6 years but I’ve been wanting to swap out for a tool with external tool access.
Cool
I really want this in a production model. The tool set is almost perfect.
Likely the arc will be that
That sheath is awesome!
Looking for the separate video of how angry the Garage series has made you.
P4 with the same small inside tools as Garage 5, but pointy awl and work in a little file. I use my serrated on fibrous materials more than any other tool. P4 file sucks but it’s a file that will work in time. No serrated blade capability on Garage or Arc.
Congrats on owning #5 mate. Reckon any suggection on mods will be appreciated. Cheers from Australia.
Frankly I would keep it as is and mod a P4 instead
the reamer awls are good for drilling wholes in leather. like making belt holes
I'm excited for the ARC
First of all - Congratulations! You got piece of a dream of many Leatherman funs )
And thanks for sharing this video.
When I've checked the possibility to buy one they where out of stock already.
Do I waiting for ARC series?.. Still not sure about. In terms of tools there's nothing new for me (I own 4 leathermans and few other multitools too), the Free platform provides this "balisong" opening.. but you can open even supertool in the same way, just not so easy. ))
Do I'm going to buy one from the start of the sales? Definitely no, I prefer to check it in the local shop first.
👍🏼looks cool.
Still waiting for my GOAT.
Hopefully this month or next.
nice! kinda disappointed that pliers don't open one handed. maybe the spring loaded mechanism needed that stiffness. Mine is not even shipped yet. guess they are busy processing orders.
Man that is one beautiful tool, I can’t wait to get out of college so I can afford one lolol
*ONLY THE PEASANTS GET THE ARC.*
*THE REAL VERSION (GARAGE 5) THATS FOR THE SCUMMY RE SELLERS ONLY.*
I was curious about the Garage. I actually got through, while at work. The white just put me off. I think the 5 is a great tool set, but I’m excited about the Arc. My Juice S2 just won’t necessarily be supplanted in its work role.
This was no.1 on my list but They sold out before I could get my info in haha.
Yeah it sucks brother I tried to purchase one of these and they were sold out super fast! That is wrong they should have made more of these they would have made lots more money than they did because there is so many people that want one and are willing to pay the ridiculous price that they have put on this product! I am just mad that I didn't get one
The Free p4 looks nice
Thank you..
gorgeous multitool.
Glad you got banned from the Leatherman website. Flippers are ruining the limited edition aspect
@@kyklain86 Yea I’m the one who’s ruining the limited editions. Leatherman only releasing 900-1000 items is not the problem.
I got one. Not in hand yet. I want to get the ARC and then decide what to do with the garage 5
I'm in the same boat. I'm severely tempted to sell mine given what they are going for on eBay (looking at the ones being bid on not the buy it now prices) right now. Then buy the arc and pocket the difference
@@jon27d yes that's what I'm strongly leaning towards as well. I feel like I would be too paranoid about using or losing the garage 5
@@TheSimplecanadian exactly! I've lost a couple of leatherman's over the years and I would be heartbroken to lose something like this. I'd be too afraid to carry it even though it looks like a phenomenal tool. And I'm not a collector so I wouldn't be happy with not using it.
@@jon27d same not a collector and not well off enough to justify having both
Can all the tools be replaced? Looks like it might be more repairable than other multi tools witch would be nice, still think I’m going to stick with my Goat multi tool though
Very nice but i hope the Arc doesn't friction openeing pliers like the waves etc and spring pliers which feels so cheap to me. I really hope they don't do that. I'll just pimp out my P2 with the new bit holder instead. I prefer the P2 over the P4. Smaller, slickier etc. ✌🤘
I was going to try, got super sick and slept through it...
You could put this blade in a MR crunch and have a double garage
This is crazy. I used express shipping and my order still is sitting on "New"! Hasn't even migrated to "Open" much less shipped.
I'm in the same boat although mine moves to Open on Friday.. still waiting.... Ridiculous they can't even use the excuse of unprecedented demand as there's no doubt they knew full well they'd sell out same day so why not have the logistics in place to ship them.
I wonder if it's because I bought other items with it..m
@@maxlvledc I wish it were the case but I also bough spare bits etc (not intending to flipping mine) I guess it could just be ranked by time order was placed. Still I can forgive the shipping companies but 5 days & it hasn't even left the warehouse is poor show especially for a premium product.
Wow, they're shipping already! My order status is "open" and my c.c. charge remains pending. I have a bad feeling about this ... :-(
Don't give up hope! Mine was like that until yesterday afternoon. Then I got UPS tracking info. I was starting to worry because the pending charge even disappeared from my card for about 12 hours!
Mine still shows open as well
Finally came :-).
No link for that killer case. They would be sick for all of my models. Great for my job.
Just added it
Little disappointing tool set. Would like the main Magnacut blade to be a drop or clip point. A secondary sheepsfoot blade, lose the eyeglass screwdriver. Maybe replace the two bit drivers with one 1/4" driver.
Hopefully the production model is improved.
Love how the blade actually flicks out with the thumb stud! Anyone know if this blade is like swap into the p2/p4v
I don't understand why we need diamond file? Even cehap multitools have a file, I never used it...
Got it, wish they removed the file and micro driver for t shank
Leatherman's "Bad Gateway", bots, and the random lucky few win while hundreds of genuine, (once) loyal customers, and their company image lose. This is not the way.
For the European audience: will the thumb stud be removable on the Arc?
Their website can't handle the garage traffic. I basically bought one but didn't get one. Submitted order with CC info but nothing happened. I'm not mad but it's unfortunate.
If only they were all like that
I'd like to see more innovation: Certainly, the idea of 100% completely interchangeable/replaceable individual tools at will has occurred to someone besides me.
25 year warranty and way better quality. That's why most people buy leatherman
Does anyone know who this Zack that he is talking about who does the 3D printed sheaths for the leatherman multi-tools? Looks like a cool solution.
I linked his website in description just meow
Some of these are crazily priced on ebay, one starting at 1,000 dollars
I will say that I like it. I could never afford it myself. Even if I could afford it myself I would be afraid to use it and damaging it. For those who we’re lucky enough to get one congratulations. But if I am paying for multi tool I want to carry and use it.
How much was this catch???
Tooo much, $275
6:24 The plier head seem a bit uneven.
Thanks for sharing! Have you tried to use the "holed" file of this tool? Can it really be used and does it really work?
I've used similar ones before...and yes
@@maxlvledc Would you then please make a video with grinding a 3-4 mm nail and may be something else with "Garage" file?
I don't really care about the Arc, I'm still waiting for my GOAT to show up
