I do not comment a lot on social media if not at all because of how debates are often disingenuous. However sometimes I wonder if Orwa is often playing the devil's advocate or he really believes some of his positions. However if it is to be controversial for shock value he is doing a very good job. I would encourage more guests to defend their positions better, or better advocates for their positions. There's that infamous quote, "all animals are created equal, but some are more equal than others" As an intelligent species we cannot by design act like primitive species and have some of their primal tenets apply to us. Take disability, look at some of the greatest improvement made to accommodate them have benefited and made the society a better place and given us great people like Stephen Hawking. It is not so simple as weaker sex, weaker profession either, because regardless of a genders proclivity towards certain jobs, it's also about how everything complement one another. How a society quickly crumbles without that so called weaker profession. Take child care a job which apparently is a woman's job, where would these great men be without their mothers fighting for their future and making them the 'great men' they become. We simplify and idealize too much, sometimes it is the spirit of the cause not the ideal version of it, because idealism should not get in the way of progress
Thank you for comments on this video. Orwa is not trying to provoke a reaction, he just thinks differently and has no problem voicing his opinion which we believe is beneficial. It would be unrealistic to expect all humans to have equal power, as that would create chaos. Discrimination and inequality unfortunately exist in our world. We appreciate that you advocate for a more thoughtful and holistic approach to societal issues, one that recognizes the complexities of human experience and values progress over idealism. It is good to imagine such a world.
Waaaa! RUclips kept on recommending this video and I kept on ignoring because some of these conversations give birth to nothing. But Chris, wueh! You have a heart. Mimi siwess 😆😆😆. But Chris thanks for taking the bull by the horn. And whoever does the memes, apewe glass moja nitalipa 👏👏👏
1:43:00 it is genuinely fascinating the kind of leadership we put on a pedestal. Trump is a beast is one things I was not expecting to hear today, I genuinely thought I was being gaslighted 😅😅 From Africans loving and admiring -strong -men dictators like Putin, who even without western propaganda have shown their murderous streaks and oppressive tactics,to falling head over heals for Trump who has done nothing but belittle them, it's almost becoming a humiliation fetish at this point, where we get off on being humiliated and looked down upon. It's almost as if Africans are that proverbial spouse in an abusive relationship and cannot help but keep defending or admiring their abuser. Fascinating. It really is fascinating.
Would you prefer to know if someone doesn't like you, or would you rather they pretend to like you while you have a nagging feeling that they don't actually like you?
My point is that men should not be manipulated into making sacrifices that are not in line with their personal purpose..let them sacrifice for what they internally believe in
On the issue of say military, technology or any industries is that...are women even joining these jobs. If you dont join the field you cant be promoted just like that. Women are not being engineers and plumbers. They are not joining oil rigs and such in large numbers. Why not? We cant want opportunities just in what WE only want.
I don't think there's content that y'all have released that I don't absolutely love.
Thank you 😊
i could watch thiss all day every day
we are glad you are enjoying the debate
