@@startupsoko I have 10 bad start up ideas 💡 that deep down I know I won't follow through on.... but I have binged watch some episodes untill 4 am very quality I never knew we Kenyans are this educated on tech
Great conversation! Yes; startups are hard but one has to ask themselves what type of hard is worth my energy? because with all honesty Hard comes with growth and a good paycheck (More of, what are my bare minimums). In terms of toxicity, sometimes it's only revealed when you are inside the job and sometimes during the hiring process.Lastly; if working for a startup be Self- aware & don't be comfortable!!
Absolutely agree with this, we didn't touch on self awareness in the conversation but definitely a quality you will to nurture when working in the start up space.
ooh awsome, why dont you do this as a series, coz the startup failure witnessed in the past is alarming and probably might be churned from this toxic cultures, so it be a way to sensitize, and informatize people; probably consider bringing people who have worked in startups or some place as such to share more, probably there is more behind the juuuuce!!
