Ice speed skating is fast and fun! Semi outdoor skating in Deventer

Ice speed skating is fast, fun and improving fitness. Other than that it’s a great outdoor and indoor activity, especially in colder regions. During winter it’s complementary to inline speed skating. This footage was made on a semi outdoor ice oval in Deventer, the Netherlands.

As an ice hockey player growing up playing the sport... ive always wanted to try this sport, and i really want to just try out those skates!!!

I can see why Netherlands does well in olympic speed skating with these types of facilities. Wish we had something like this in BC, Canada. We Canucks are pretty hockey centric.
