Why am I up watching your videos at this time when I’ve work in the morning. Haha I’m defo learning that little lick on the intro tomorrow. And see what them other ones throughout the song are doing. Haha sooo much to learn
Paul I swear to god, this is genius mate and your channel is class and also ur a gem of a guy too mate to boot!!! please Keep em comin' Aw the Best always 🙏🙏 Ross
Thanks again James! I'm in the middle of acquiring a red echodrive pedal. If/when it arrives I'll look into doing a video of my set up, that would be my pedal board finished! Hopefully get it soon, I'm waiting on the seller getting back to me! Appreciate you watching again mate 👍
Thought I'd left a comment yesterday. Entirely possible I didn't hit comment. I'll try again. Great cover as always. There is something uplifting about this album, very underrated in my opinion. Nice to see you using your Sheraton. I've seen it hanging in your guitar room and wondered if it got much love since you got the 345. I have one, a few years older than yours, late 80s I believe, and it is the best semi hollow I've owned. It has seen off 3 Gibson 335s, which the price and the forums told me should have been better, but no. The thing is alive. It vibrates like an acoustic when played, the Gibsons felt dead in comparison. I own many guitars that are more expensive/rare/desirable, but my Sheraton is the one I will sell last.
Thanks again Jon! Appreciate it as always my friend! 👍 This one is not as old as yours, I would love an 80s Sheraton, I have heard nothing other than good things about them. What kind of finish is on yours? This is the 1st guitar I ever bought myself around 2003 and it's been gathering dust. I felt more and more guilty recently when every time I walk in the room and it's just hanging there. So decided to get it down, fresh set up and new strings etc. Truss rod needed a slight adjustment and then it was playing great again. Wow, how I missed it, such a great playing guitar with a very warm sound from it. I shall now be doing a few more tunes with this! It has been sitting in the shadow of my 345 for sure. I guess that's just because when I got the Gibson I put the bigsby on and changed the tuners and ultimately got the guitar I had always wanted then just couldn't put the thing down. Now I have the Epiphone playing again it will definitely see more use!
Cheers for the reply. Mine is in the ugly dark/chocolate burst. She isn’t pretty and she has live a hard life, but goodness, doesn’t she sing! I’d recommend checking them out. I realise my sample size is very small, but there is certainly something about them. Mine is also the only one of its kind I’ve seen as I’m a lefty. Glad to hear you have resurrected yours, although I can understand why you’ve been focusing on your beautiful 345. There is certainly a useful place for Epi guitars. They certainly serve a purpose when you don’t fancy taking your 5k investment to a dodgy gig venue, that’s for sure. For me, the weak point of the early 2000s epis was the pickups. If you ever grow tired of yours, might be worth thinking about a pickup upgrade. That said, yours sounds great here. Cheers, Jon. And no, didn’t get any tickets!
@@lazaglider Funny you should mention the pick ups Jon! I am actually considering trying a set of Gibson custombuckers or a set of Monty's pafs, was going to get them and new wiring loom & pots etc. That might be the next project haha! Although this one does sound good and I don't have an issue with the pick ups or electrics so far, but definitely thinking about upgrading it. That's rubbish you didn't get tickets man, the whole thing that happened on Saturday was just crazy. I was trying to get some for Heaton Park too but was about 300000 people in front of me. Hopefully you can pick some up nearer the time mate 👍
@@PellPas Thanks so much Pell!! This is the first guitar I ever bought myself around 2003 I think. I have not picked it up for months. So dusted it down, done a new set up on it and got it going again. I was getting mad fret buzz on the d string and had to adjust the truss rod. Now It's such a good player and I love the natural finish on it too. As always, I appreciate you tuning in fella 👌👍🎸
@@pauljohnstone547 I had an Epiphone Black Beauty Les Paul and was desperately in need of tune up, i ended up selling it but it played very well, Epiphone guitars are awesome. By curiosity, what pedal are you running in this vid ?
@@PellPas Noel I'm sure used a danelctro chorus during this tour, I've tried my best to replicate it using a line 6 mm4. It's basically a multi modulation pedal with 4 channels on it, so has trem, chorus, rotary etc a cover all bases kinda pedal for that kinda thing and honestly it's so useful. So I've dialled in the nearest I could think to the chorus setting that kinda makes his lead tone thicker I think?

Thank you for your feedback! When I started out a few months ago I was only getting back into playing guitar again.
