Some years ago, we went to New Caledonia for holiday. One day we were sitting in a restaurant. Two Australian ladies some meters away. We saw a discussion between the two and the waiter, obviously he did not understand what they wanted. The people there speak English, since Australia is the only country "close" by. He returned with his boss, the discussion continued and we saw the waiter returnung with ice cubes which the ladies then put in the white wine. Always feels good to come from a continent with culture.

Bonjour, madame. My father's family came from Languedoc. Cool that you mentioned it here, today. I was also a wine consultant for several years, and I really enjoyed it. I like most wines, however, I have acquired a special taste for Cabernet Sauvignon. And, lastly, yes, the French are very judgy. haha! Bonne journee.
