I'm afraid the only way this behavior will stop is if the punishment becomes much more severe.

No, not death. The punishment for driving on the sidewalk there is such a small fine that there is no incentive to avoid the crime. If they made the legal consequences like they are in America, the incentive would be greater.
The punishment should be their license revoked and their vehicle impounded which has to be released by a person with a license and owners certificate of the vehicle in question.

Jonnsen I think you get confused with averages...Maybe it's 500 but the big cities like Moscow etc are many time above average and in remote areas it's way below. Did you notice what cars the people were driving? Mercs, BMW's etc

I think you might be on to something here, it would also prevent people from grabbing your clothes because it is a coarse texture...but sandpaper isn't waterproof...

You guys need to stand in front of the cars with an old bicycle and drop it when the car moves forward to run you over. maybe the bike will damage the car or pop a tire. A good way to protect yourselves!!!
Good way to get banned as well for damaging other people's property. The whole point is to stay within the law constantly, that's how they can remain operational and keep getting help from the police.

It's a good video, but you NEED to fix the problem of being dragged off on a car. For starters, it's super dangerous for your activists. Secondly, it breaks up your operation. The group gets split up and the guy being dragged now faces a dangerous person on his own. Furthermore, your cops do not seem to give a shit when drivers use their cars as a weapon, so they get a small fine at best. Which is NOT worth it. Fix this problem. Block the car dragging your friend by ANY means necessary.
This is a great group and they have made great progress over the course of time. Their next step needs to be to find a way to stop the 'free rides'.
Someone said bikes but they should have spike belts on the bike so if the driver runs over the bike they get a flat tire.

I binge watch stop a doucebag weekly.. Its funny and educational at the same time. problem is the only Russian that I am learning is trotuar.."sidewalk" - keep up the great videos. . maybe the Russian govt will invest in KRAIL barriers to simply prohibit cars from driving on

Jasper Riley - emergency vehicles need to go through there from time to time. The best solution would be an automatic bollards system as is common in Britain but they are expensive to implement citywide.

No. Sidewalks have to provide quick access to emergency vehicles

It's incredibly funny to me that most of these drivers try to make themselves look all-knowing and arrogant when they are being filmed and the Stop the Douchebag -team look stupid and excessive.
But the longer they're trying to do it and slowly realizing they're falling behind in the argument, it makes them just look even more ridiculous.

Demos Ioannou Ahhh... I didn't think snow plows drove onto the sidewalks. In the US, they use something quite a bit smaller to remove snow on sidewalks.
