Great vlog! I'm curious tho, you guys looked to have had dinner in the same area as your camp/ sleep area. Is that not a problem being in bear country? I thought all of BC is grizzly range so I'm confused how everyone is so calm and nonchalant about bear threat and food in camp! Can't wait for more adventure vlogs! Cheers on the new journey
I’m not sure that there’s many grizzlies in that area. There are black bears for sure. We were a little ways away from our tent. Could have been a bit farther for sure. We hung all of our food and scented items far away from our sleeping area though. Thanks for watching! I have lots more videos to share on here 📹❤️

awesome vid. Amazing to see how beautiful our country is, even from a few provinces over (ON gal here). Would you be able to do a video regarding fitness specifically for hiking. Do you do specific work outs that are tailored to make long distance or elevated hiking more sustainable and for your endurance? or is it strictly hiking you do? Did you find it took a while for your endurance to build? I'm having a hard time building endurance for steep hiking. Any advice or suggestions would be great in a vid :)

Hi Kath! That’s a great suggestion. I mostly cycle at the gym plus some strength training to get ready for hiking season. I will admit though, I’ve been a little slack on that since COVID hit. I try to keep up with home workouts though. I’m going to start seeing a physical therapist/personal trainer soon to get back into shape. Usually in the beginning of the season steep hikes are really hard for me. But my endurance gets better the more hiking I do. I’ll look into making a video like this though! Great idea 😊

I don't have a tent. I don't like sleeping on or near the ground. I I have my car setup perfectly to sleep in somewhat comfortably for a couple of days. Would you know of any car camping spots with a peaceful area, and possibly a good view.

I’m sorry for the late reply here. But that neck tube hood thingy is an Airhole Facemask. It’s meant for snowboarding but I use it year round if it’s cold when I’m camping. www.airholeface masks.com

What is the probability of hitting bears on such a tour?
There’s always a chance. I carry bear spray with me and talk loudly on the trail as to not startle a bear if I come across one. Bears generally want to stay away from humans though, but we are venturing into their home.
