John Scofield’s guitar work has influenced jazz since the late 70’s and is going strong today. Possessor of a very distinctive sound and stylistic diversity, Scofield is a masterful jazz improviser whose music generally falls somewhere between post-bop, funk edged jazz, and R & B.

Brian DeCubellis, filmmaker
Most recently DeCubellis directed, produced and co -wrote the screenplay for the feature film Trust. His previous feature noir Manhattan Night stars Adrien Brody, Yvonne Strahovski, Campbell Scott and Jennifer Beals. Manhattan Night is currently streaming (Amazon Prime, iTunes, Cable On Demand) and has been released worldwide in every major territory internationally.

Joerg Steineck, filmmaker
Steineck released Inside Scofield in late 2022. His new film American Dirge, about a troubled musician named Sam, will come out later this year.

I loved this film. I’ve seen it a few times now. It’s nice to spend time with Sco. It’s great when you get a glimpse of an artists humanity, it enriches the music so much
