- Kenji Baheux, PM on Google Chrome, will share what we've been up to in Chrome for built-in AI, what we've learned, and what's next. We'll talk about how we see the Prompt API, our status for high-level task APIs such as summarization, write / rewrite, learnings from the early preview program, and where we are going from here.

Products mentioned: AI for the web, Google Chrome Browser, Chrome Browser Automation, Chrome Extensions, Chrome, Chrome Web Platform, Web AI, Web apps, Web Assembly (Wasm), Web Platform in Chrome, WebAssembly for Chrome, WebGPU, Generative AI, AI, Google AI, Google AI Edge, Responsible AI, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Models
If I were Google, I'd make a web site, where users can find what they are searching. It would be mind blowing.
really the best
That "Learn more" URL in the description doesn't work
Thanks for flagging! We've updated the link.
so funny
Its awesome 👍👍👍 ,
just saying AI a bunch of times seems vague and incorrect. Anytime Google is about to say AI it should stop insead reference the type of AI such as Generative AI, or LLM. IMO
He's clearly speaking about LLMs.
I agree this would be helpful
Release date for production?
Awesome
In my country we have a speech how said the following thing "hay que dejar de robar con la IA por dos años"
How to use the APIs
Nobody wants ai
Actually you use ai everyday, so no
i do
Yes if they use all those resources to find all deadly disease medicine and fine cure 😢million do not have to die until natural cause.
yes nobody but everybody 😅
This is an API for developers, and it can be useful depending on the application.
I mean it’s going to be wild once chrome is no longer a part of google
Even if they do have to sell it they'll just fork it it's not actually worth any money hooray for open source
@ pretty sure **if** the DoJ goes through with it Google be prevented from developing a new browser.
very unfortunate, we are going to see end of chrome in few months.
You haven't downloaded brave or opera yet?
@@erkintek Brave and Opera is Chromium under the hood.
I've been using Firefox for the last 6 months as I can see where Google are heading but I don't think we're seeing the end of chrome anytime soon
Can we just not
Why does he repeatedly say “right”? Is it some sort of French speaking pattern?
