These aren't even her low growls. First time I saw them I was standing next to a stack of speakers when they played Who Is Gonna Be The One and her low growls shook every cell of my body. I couldn't feel her words in my bones. Unforgettable experience.
Keep in mind at the time this was recorded, Tatiana had just turned 30 and had been growling half her life. For the first five years until her first band where she performed with growls she was practicing while singing cleans with every band that would let her pick up a mic to build her clean singing skills and vocal foundation. Jinjer was her 8th band and at one point she was in 4 bands at the same time. Starting in 2008 she began performing with growls in a band called Prophecy and then was recruited by Jinjer shortly after when Jinjer's founding male vocalist moved to the US. And mind you this was all small-time local gigs in the coal mining and industrial cities of eastern Ukraine. It wasn't until 2012 that they signed with their first indie label and 2014 when they started shows outside Ukraine in neighboring countries like Romania and then signed with Napalm Records. Then 2017 and Pisces went viral and the broader metal community started taking notice.

😂its jinjer time it never gets old watching Tatiana snatching people's souls and in my 57 years of being a metal head this band is something special next level stuff they brought me back to metal after a long time of exploring other music.

I enjoyed your analysis and commentary. Insights from a musician are often very interesting. Your comments on Eugene's bass technique were spot on.
Things to know: Tatiana (vocals, lyrics) isn't the only female with impressive extreme vocals but in my opinion she is the best. Easily my favourite modern vocalist. Also, the drummer (Vladi) is very highly regarded in the metal community, he's an exceptionally inventive musician and also plays guitar and classical piano.
The lyrics to Jinjer's songs are nearly always deep and complex, definitely worth looking them up if you cover more Jinjer. Subscribed!

Lol Jinjer is ukrainian proggy djent groove metal with complex time-signature maze, polyrhythms and multi-genre blending. They are one of the most talented 4-pieces ever. Tati is one of the best overall metal vocalists and lyricists in the business.
