Dear Ubisoft: You should not care about what YOU want in your games, what matters is what us, the CONSUMERS want. "Consumers are too stupid to understand that NFTs are the future." the most ironic part is how the whole NFT business and how they described "players with ID cards deciding the future" sounds like the most dystopian shit ever and a system that would be taken down by the characters in the show

The fact that this game was released so quietly makes me feel like not even ubisoft was proud of this like it was an obligation they had to fulfill to someone and just tried to pass it off without anybody noticing
Captain Laserhawks actually a pretty good show, it’s on Netflix Ironically, this is one of the things the show would mock since it’s in a cyberpunk like setting. hope this won’t kill the show
they are just trying to copy what the other big boys are doing for absolutely no reason and tripping while trying to copy their rancid tactics. Its always so puzzling to see a company that's doing just fine. They are making money and pushing out products that have an audience, yet they have this burning urge to start doing incredibly stupid things.
At this point, I am convinced that Yves Guillemot is intentionally driving down Ubisoft's share price to get a kickback from Tencent when Tencent buys Ubisoft.
So, Captain Lazerhawk is a show on Netflix that brings together a lot of Ubisoft IP to make a really good, tongue in cheek, cyberpunk show. It's where the image of Rayman doing coke off the back of a cow girl comes from. The fact Ubisoft made an NFT game instead of just promoting the show or seeing that they are the bad guys in their own show is really telling of how that company keeps failing.
Captain LaserHawk was genuinely such a good show, it was genuinely emotional and had a fantastic story that fit beautifully with a cyberpunk setting, seeing them put a bullet into the head of something that had so much potential that will now go completely unrealized and has tarnished the name of Captain LaserHawk so hard that it genuinely brought me to tears.
I loved Blood Dragon, I enjoyed the Trials game and the show was simply hilarious. That whole universe is the best Ubisoft has ever made, because it's a joke and it's a joke that's hard to mess up. But apparently Ubisoft was up to the challenge and made this garbage. I have stopped calling myself a Ubisoft fan years ago, but man, they keep on punching me in the gut regardless.

The irony that they decided to use Captain Lazerhawk: Blood Dragon Remix, a show that's notoriously *against* soulless corporations in its story, and turn THAT into a soulless NFT Game is wild to me, I don't even know who thought it was a good idea to use Captain Lazerhawk of all shows, I guarantee that not a single person who was pitching this idea even watched the show or even knew what it was about
2:01 his assets got repossessed mid video

😂😂😂 Read this insanely high and it made my night, cheers m8
I noticed that too lmaoooo
Dear Ubisoft: You should not care about what YOU want in your games, what matters is what us, the CONSUMERS want. "Consumers are too stupid to understand that NFTs are the future." Thats more or less what the ceo said. We want good games like AC4, Red Dead Redemption, Resident Evil and Metal Gear solid. Wanna know what these games had in common? Good characters with good controls and a fun story we can get lost in. Thats what we want.
They are too arrogant to heed this advice.
@jonathan_420 they're not arrogant, they knew that idiots like YOU won't even bother regardless if companies did EVERYTHING right because you'll either complain about it anyways or won't bother anyways cause of your ignorance that'll come back to haunt ya every. single. time.
Dead Space Remake, Timesplitters, Medal of Honor, Splinter Cell, Deus Ex, Burnout etc ips like those that are forever gone because of people like YOU stop caring about them ips whatsoever thus why not only devs started hating on ya, but not REAL gamers like me & many others there are tired of your hypocrites ruining OUR hobby that should be for everyone, not for what you think is best for your kind & kind alone
its honestly quite sad, all those good titles are gonna fade into the past for good since ubisoft isnt gonna be around to develop them anymore, though not that they were in the first place...
Ubisoft: "Y’all Hear Something?"
I would even fit the original The Crew into this category. Amazing story, great characters, genuine growth and development.
Except that's the big one Ubisoft refuses to let anyone even launch now so, yknow-
That and with TC2 and Motorfest the franchise went from dark gritty underground revenge-driven street racing story with justice and corruption, and got turned into a Forza Horizon knockoff where everything's all colorful happy and you level up by gaining online followers >:(

Charlie’s talking about Ubisoft failure is a sweet lullaby in my ears
In a quite recent company meeting, they shared that their goal was "To increase share holder value"
Not to make better games, not to give players what they want, not to experiment and make interesting games. But to make the already rich people richer.

It’s unfortunately a dying franchise, with the most recently decent game being in like 2016: Rayman Legends. If you do ever get time and $30, get itttt!!!!
I love how the background gets so much better and better with each and every video and just wait for the moment in 10 videos when it will start exeeding whats possible and become a god of a sort making Charlie the new creator, the only one able to destroy it, which will lead to him making a video titled "I will be shaping the future", in which he will adress the most important philosophical problems and create his own religion Charlianity indicating the beggining of the new era
Before when we wanted more Rayman, we got more Rabbids. Now when we want more Rayman, we get NFTs.
Yeah...
The fact that this game was released so quietly makes me feel like not even ubisoft was proud of this like it was an obligation they had to fulfill to someone and just tried to pass it off without anybody noticing

I have stopped calling myself a Ubisoft fan years ago, but man, they keep on punching me in the gut regardless.
the show villians put everybody on Universal Basic Income. It outright shows that AI is just enslaved humans doing the task which is it turns out was true in a lot of cases where some service was supposedly run by AI.

Hate to be one to break it to you bro, but it's actually around 1991-1994 years since Jesus died. We count years since Jesus' birth, or to be precise, since what one syrian monk in 525 calculated to be the year of Jesus birth.
