You should watch the series Dragons: Riders of Berk, Defenders of Berk and Race to the Edge, they dive deeper into what happened on that 5 year gap between the first film and this. They expand on Hiccup and Astrid's relationship, Hiccup and his dad, as well as flesh out the rest of the gang, and how Berk adapted to living with dragons. You should also watch the Gift of the Night Fury holiday special because the events of that are referenced in the third film.

Toothless is the first trained dragon to come into their lives and the last to leave. Very fitting.
Except it doesn't make sence and leaves a ton of plot holes, but at least there will not be StarWars-like sequels
A movie might suggest for sometime in near future: "Field of Dreams". Has been reacted to by a great many on RUclips, very popular. Kevin Costner, James Earl Jones, Ray Liotta, kinda stirs the emotions a bit. (tissues on standby) Based in American Baseball, but quite a number of surprises and turns.

If you ever need more of this your could at anytime watch the show Race to the edge. That gives you a huge lore dump with the growth of the characters that fits between the first and second movies. Totally worth the watch even if you don't react to it.
Why is it that there are many historical paintings with dragons in them but none with dinosaurs? Maybe this is more of a cartoon'd documentary 😎

Did you watch it on a big screen TV? So many reactors watch visually beautiful movies on a monitor and it just doesn’t give them the immersive experience they deserve, let alone the one the movie intended.
One example is LOTR, it’s so sad people first view that on a monitor for a reaction channel and not a tv for a reaction channel
Who thinks the dragons will return in the next movie or live action of How To Train Your Dragon, and did anyone cried during the end credits when they showed moments from the first two movies.
