I identify with the issue of starting one task and noticing many other things that need to be done. It is so encouraging to find that I am not alone in this.😂 Setting a timer does help me to stay on track. The bulbs are a lovely promise of spring.
The same thing happened to me with my shoe size. I thought I'd decluttered all my old footwear. One day, my sheets were on the line when the heavens opened. The weight of all the soaked bedding broke the washing line. I threw on my old PVC mac and dragged out an old pair of wellies from the back of the cupboard, After rescuing the sheets, I came in to get dry. When it came to removing the wellies, they wouldn't budge. I then realised they were size 5, I'm now size 6, and the rain had run off the mac and got inside the wellies. After trying to remove them for 10 minutes, I had to resort to cutting them off with a pair of scissors! I don't think I've ever laughed at myself so much! 😂😂😂
I have a long way to go before I get my home to the place yours is. I do love the phrase and idea of “Freshen-up Friday”!! I also love your conservatory! I could live in there; but first, I would have to get the little mouse friend out😉😂😂!! Have a great weekend, Kate! ~~Lisa
Oh my goodness....I'm experiencing the same foot problem.....I'm in my early 60s and I'm having such a terrible time with my toes....they are so sore in my current shoes and boots....my feet certainly have spread out, they are so painful the only ease I get is when wearing my Birkenstocks .....I'm waiting for a new pair of walking boots (Barefoot type) to see if they help as I really don't want to go for even a short walk as the pain is so awful....I went to IKEA last week and by the time I had walked round the store I was in agony!! Absolutely loving your podcast, it is so motivational, thank you. Love your house as well, it is beautiful Oh and doggies x
Thank you so much for the feedback I’m glad you’re enjoying my cleaning and tidying vlog . I went and got my feet assessed . Going up 1.5 shoe sizes has made such a difference to me . Podiatrists advice was so good 😊 she told me to get my feet measured and to go to a specialist running shop for my trainers and get my gait analysed and buy wise foot trainers it’s been so much better

I now go for comfort over looks when it comes to shoes and boots now my feet have got wider. I think when your out and your feet are killing you your whole day is ruined because you are in so much pain
Absolutely 💯 👍 I’ve always go for comfort over looks where footwear is concerned as my grandmother had awful bunions from wearing heels and narrow shoes pretty much her whole adult life until she no longer could as her feet where so deformed
I, wore pointed shoes much too tight with heels throughout my secondary school. How I regret that now. It was a fashion in my school at the time as we had to wear school uniform but could wear what shoes we liked. 👠
Oh no your poor feet . My mum was super strict so no pointy shoes or heels in our house . At the time I thought she was being unreasonable but as I got older and the. Had my own children I totally understood .
