Nice, didn't know of the update till now. Screenshots here I transfer.... Good to know now we can switch to pc pics. Been wanting some of my DQB2 pics.... So I have an easier reference... :) Thank you.
Is there anything preventing you from connecting your switch to your to say you Android phone via the USB C route? Seems like that might be the easier way, though not wireless.
I can't seem to get mine working :c My mobile data is off, and it keeps saying the password is wrong, I changed the security. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong..
Hm... In theory, that's not bad. Scan one code, then the other. In theory. In practice, apps connecting to networks has been deprecated since android 10, causing scanners that try it to either malfunction, send you to do it manually, or omit any WiFi functionality whatsoever. And then you're limited to one video or ten pictures, forcing you to do it over and over...
It's not even working. After connecting to the network, I can't scan the 2nd QR anymore due to "No Connection Available." So I tried going to the 192.168.0.1/index.php but it only shows "Not Found"
Hmm normally that should work, because the QR code doesn't need internet to work. The ip web adress is something you can always access in your shared network (of your Switch and smartphone)
- Did you exit the screen on your switch? Once you do, the access point is gone. - Your QR scanner might malfunction or cause a network change if it tries to access other internet addresses, e.g. for ads or data collection. - Lastly, it's possible that your phone automatically disconnected and connected to a different network, all by itself. Smart WiFi is a bit dumb sometimes.
@@christophersavignon4191 - No I did not exit the screen -I check the connections and it didn't changed. Idk what to do anymore. Maybe I'll just stick to twitter when downloading images.
@@seanvill268 Well, that's weird. Out of curiosity, which OS and browser are you using? I'm on Android 10 with Brave, and scanning the link is the only thing that works smoothly...
Thank you, I had no idea they added this. This worked perfectly on my tablet and phone
I didn't know about the update and here you are already explaining how to avoid problems with it.

Was wondering what was up with the strange QR code. Why couldn't they have simply explained that it hosts a WiFi network?
I thought I posted this already... but I guess not: This was a pretty useful tip even if nintendo made it a bit convoluted.
Kann mich nicht mit meiner Switch verbinden. Da kommt ständig, dass nach Eingabe des Passworts, das Passwort immer noch falsch wäre...

Does the PC transfer automatically have those folders with the folder names, or did you make those, yourself?
Yes the Switch creates those folders automatically :)

I might try that, though the update and the menu text specifically says "connect to PC".
I wonder if you can transfer photos from your phone to the Nintendo
Danke für das tutorial! War sehr hilfreich!
Thank-you. This feature is really dumb. Don't know what Nintendo was thinking.
This doesn't work for me. Apparently updating your android OS to 11 renders this option useless, as of now.
Some pictures or videos wont send. But some does... Any fix?
There you can sort them in folders. :D
Thank you for the video and information
What about transferring Dragon Quest Builders 2 save files from switch to pc?
I don't think this is possible without hacking your Switch ^^

Maybe it refreshed its password at some point but doesn't show it? I would just try to restart the console and try again with a new password :>

Is straight-up does not work I have tried multiple times to get it to connect my phone and is not doing anything
Are those two devices in the same network? Is the Switch and your phone on the same wifi?
