Your video did not make it clear when programming pi-star how your sky bridge was connected to your computer. I assume by the ethernet cable connected to the modem, but I am not sure.
Programming the Skybridge Plus on stand alone WIFI is very slow and some times would time-out reaching the quantum. An ethernet connection is much faster when writing to the device. Also, the WIFI field truncated the SSID so you have to be careful of your naming convention.
I do NOT like DMR. I do NOT like DMR. I do NOT like DMR. I do NOT like DMR. I do NOT like DMR. I do NOT like DMR. You are told this is plug-and-play, but there are always a FEW more steps involved in configuring the Skybridge before you can cummunicate with the 878. Really disappointing. I'll stick with m,y TH-D74, FT5DR, Openspot, and my HF rigs.

Additionally, Pi-Star_RPi_V4.1.4_08-Feb-2021.zip does not accept wireless configuration. Had to revert back to previous version.

If you can figure out the TH-D74, you can learn DMR. Regarding the Skybridge and 878, it's plug and play if you buy the package.
Pass. Way too much poncing about.
