It needs different types of habitats. Like jungle, swamp, riverside, snow,.... It is realistic game i know. But they can make it happen according to the text. Its easy for them. All the green boring me after a couple of hours.

It’s free for Xbox Live Gold Dec 2019. I've wanted this game since it came out. Glad it’s free. Edit: Played it last night. It's a pretty fun little game. The contols on the Xbox are a little wonky being a controller. But for the most part it's good. Graphics are nice as well. I would recommend this game to not just fans of the series but for people who enjoy park builders in general.

The game is a little content dry but with what it has I find it very fun. It’s cool being able to pin any 2 Dino’s you want together to fight it out. It’s also sad seeing them die. I had watermelon, one of the first Dino’s you get and a small one, who’s pattern kinda looked like a watermelon. I had him for a while, but sadly he died last night when I was playing of old age. I also had one of my carnivores break out once and they ate 2 people before I could tranquilize him. Let’s just say my ratings went down.
Doge 67 if you REALLY want to play it, yes. But I suggest you wait for a sale or price drop. Though it is a fun game, it is a little expensive for the amount of content there is.

game has shit tonn of potential. just needs more content. things like individual needs and preferences from literally every visitor like in previous JP operation genesis and also dino alpha system where dino AI forms a flock or a herd with alpha and they roam together. it was one of best parts of that game.
It needs more customisation options for me. I want to be able to place down different trees, benches, bins, etc. It should be, to me, a park building game first and foremost and with the little options available it just doesn't do it for me.
Haven't played the game yet waiting for release but from what I can see to have visitor stats for as many as I have seen in different videos would be a little much when your cursor is scrolling around and having a thousand individual pop ups
Quester91 Fixes of AI. New gene mechanics, sandbox is much more refined and has way more options. More islands and unique dinos. New terrain tools and decorations. Some new mechanics like Spinosaurs requiring wetland areas and being able to feed from fish feeders. Along with one or 2 new buildings like the Jeep Tour. That’s the big ones.

Quester91 It’s not needed but I’d suggest the Dr. Wu one is essential. The gene modification and new dinos are solid. The Claire DLC depends on if you like the dinos or the whole concept of it.
I love this game, put in about 30 hours in 4 days 😅 And you can do so much. At one point I got a little carried away and built an offroad track for my Jeep 🤣🤣🤣

Its been great so far. The sight of the first Brachiosaur you clone stepping out of containment into the sunlight....is an awe inspiring thing to behold.
When I created my first triceratops I said to my partner this was my favourite when I was a kid and low and behold the achievment popped called my favorite as a kid. Kudos to the devs for that one
After buying it, I don't think its worth $50. I had my fun with it. I was grinding until I hit the T Rex, then messed around with it for some time. I got bored at 19 hours of playing the game and thats me being a huge Jurassic Park fan. If they add DLC and updates I'm sure ill come back. Maybe some AI improvements. Id also like a sense of fear when you go in the fences to feed the dinos. I wish the Dinos attacked the Rangers and possibly kill them. Just to add some weariness.
Edward A ya I was a bit disappointed with that since you know you have to get them in there to replenish and repair things. Maybe add an option to have RNG aggitation happen with them when the gyros or rangers are in the enclosure and they decide to attack.

Regnier575 ehhh not really the dinosaur AI needs improvements, we need better park customization to make it more unique than the rest because almost every park is the same, for some reason when herbivores graze it doesn't fill their hunger meter, the raptors don't jump on a a big dinosaur all at once which is a let down because they did in JPOG, there's no day/night cycle all the maps are set on a different time of day, and the maps are small they're not as big as they seem in, JPOG you were able to make your own map, aaaannndddd that's pretty much all I have to say about it
Park builders are cool and all, especially for Jurassic Park, but I still really want a story-driven, third person shooter game set on a run-down Isla Nublar that would play similar to The Last of Us, but with dinosaurs and maybe some more survival/crafting elements.
Failure? No Disappointment? Yes Had fun? Yes, till you discover that the game has no depth It is a very pretty game that that is all there is to it, especially when compared to JPOG. Quick list of stuff missing or just weird design decisions for a park builder game -Attendees have no personality -They spawn from random buildings rather than come in through the entrance of the park -Economy is incredibly simplistic and too easy to stay in the green -Cannot look at individual guests -Very limited number of ways to view dinosaurs (2 viewing areas and the gyroscope) You also cant start a random park fresh with new islands. You are stuck with the 6 with the same rate of progression. Also the islands are very small and with the buildings being very picky about terrain, it gets much harder to build the way you want. Problems with dinosaurs -No species counter in park overview making keeping track of how many of what you have a chore -Limited social interactions between dinosaurs (as in there is like 5-6 states they can be in eating, drinking, social, roaming, panicking and rampage, BTW social is just them standing in a circle and crying, no physical interactions like clashing horns of hitting heads) -Canned and staged animations (compared to fluid ones from JPOG) -Dinosaurs are very predicable (compared to JPOG) -EVERY dinosaur can break a concrete wall -Carnivores will always kill off all herbivores they can kill no matter the enclosure size and rather than killing when hungry -A lot of skins look really bad, especially for the raptor -Dinosaurs pose no threat to rangers (Large carnivores crushes jeeps in JPOG) Essentially, the game is way to easy and once you know how the mechanics work, getting 5 stars on all islands is a cake walk. And there a lot more wrong than was mentioned above.
Also dinosaurs do not leave when you try to get into an enclosure, even if they are right next to the open gate when your jeeps go through (Needs double gates like in the first movie).

I feel this is probably the most legit "review" I have seen for this so far. Everyone else seems to just be bashing it for reasons that I don't even feel are true or correct. But I do still feel I am the only person on the planet who feels it is 100% worth the price. But that is subjective, like every game. People still think Call of Duty is worth $60-$100 every single year while I would barely want to pay $20 for it anymore. But was also nice to actually bring up Operation Genesis. I was comparing this game to it the moment it was announced and still simply label it as Operation Genesis 2 with how much similarities it has. I am sure they took a lot from it (in a good way).

Watching the IGN review, I am certain the guy just straight up hates the entire genre. Which begs the question why he was reviewing it in the first place. But hey, least we know Black Ops 4 will be getting a solid 9.8/10 no matter what.
I would say 99% of their stuff is created purely because money. They can make money from RUclips or other means and they already have a large enough reputation to where they don't have to care at all. They are basically the video game media form of Activision and EA. They have 0 reason to actually care because they know they will still be making money anyway.
They need to make a Jurassic world game where it's like the movies, full of jump scares, hiding from t rex's and a wide array of guns that you can get upgrades for. Like resident evil 7 just with dinosaurs

I like when a game has surprising levels of detail, which enhances the immersion. It appears that this game might lack that a bit. What I mean is that I want the game to do more than what I'd reasonably expect in terms of AI especially.
It is over priced, its focus is the cool dinosaurs, but they forget all about the guests. No simple things like toilets viewing points from paths or benches not even some small rides or attractions. After the first couple of islands the nostalgia wears off and it becomes mundane cause there isn't a lot to build or customize. Stock up food, shoot sick Dino's, send for fossils, research fossils, fix power outages then repeat.

I just want to note the developer Frontier is really good with dlc and lots of free content, I'm sure it will be worth it in the long run. You can buy it now and play while you wait for content or just buy it later, it will be much better eventually for sure, their not going to abandon it like EA abandoned Mass Effect Andromeda, this is actually a good developer, I know that sounds so crazy in 2018 haha!
I played this game for about 10 hours so far and I am really tired of it already. The game gets boring because it is too easy and also doesn't take long before you already max out a particular island. When I play a tycoon type game I want the long progression from a small park to a big one and it just isn't there. The game just seems like more of a grind to me. I know I sound negative but it is because this game had so much potential and instead is just another game with nothing very special.
There's plenty of content there to justify the price lol. I'm well over 30 hours in and I'm only on the third island. You people really expect way too much
No it does not take trial and error to know what each dinosaur requirements are. There is a stat chart on each dinosaur, some with numbers, detailing what you need. Only thing you need to guess is how much forest you need, usually it just either all forest or patches, and how big an enclosure you need which you can just guess from the size of each dinosaur.
I think so many people are bashing the game because it’s price is so high for what the game is. You said “like roller coaster tycoon” I’m not paying 60$ for that lol
I’m totally having fun, especially since the update just dropped this week adding new dinos for free. My only gripe is I wish there was an underwater aspect because I’d like to have mesosaures and what not like in the JP games on IOS. As for the craziest park I built, that small Island with hardly any space. I had enough research to get an Indomanisrex and I didn’t feed it regular meat, I literally created other dinos for it to fight, kill and eat because as you know, the more actual kills the Dinos make, the more popular that specific dino becomes... until it dies.
It at some points can become a fun game to a point dont get me wrong but this guy does not understand the game and only got a basic idea of it, i can say after playing it for 50 hours this game is not nearly as good as he is making it out to be its not worth the money and most of the shit he is talking about isnt actually a good thing when you get start into it like the shops are broken and will randomly have 1000 people and then go to 0 for no reason (you can still watch people walk in and out but its still 0 so you make no money from it) or how he said the power outs lead to a risk of dino escape but that isnt true at all the dinos will not just trying and brake out if they are happy they wont even try and brake out so if the power goes out they have no idea and keep going on their days actually the dinos will brake out for almost any reason except the power outs or if they are starving oddly enough they will just die in the cage without even trying to brake out but to many trees they will brake to little trees they brake out out too many dinos they will brake out too little of those dinos and you can guess it. . . they also will brake out and regardless of the higher walls really they will only hold a dino a for a bit longer then a lesser wall but they will brake out regardless and i do mean brake out like even a small raptor that in JPOG would have to climb the fence in this game this little guy smashes right through it like its nothing but sticks holding it in then it will go on a murder spree killing human after human and i mean right after it kills a human it looks for the next but when my indom broke out he just when for a walk and kill only people he end up walking on it didnt even try and kill anything else it was so relaxed yet all carnos in this game will go for a killing spree if it gets out i had a copy of the raptor that i cant remember the name of the one with the crest on its head got like 20 people before the ACU got it. I am just braking the tip of my rant on this game this was such a let down, its not worth the money and its not worthy of being the next JPOG that game did a way better job 15 years ago then these idiots did with this game. (I am a little butt hurt about this game being a letdown i know but its still truly a let down)
i would love it if this game had more things to do when you're freely exploring. think of how awesome this could be if it had RPG, strategy, and some 3rd or 1st person shooting along with creating your park. the potential is huge.

It's available on Steam... add it to your wishlist and you'll be notified when its on sale... Steam does sales all the time, but not all games are on sale every sale... so like this game might actually go on sale every 3rd or 4th Steam sale... also, you can get this on G2A cheaper than on Steam.
I bought this game for a buddy of mine for $15 on Xbox One. I didn't think I'd be into it at all, but after 5 hours of watching him make a park and barking orders at him with his girlfriend I had to have it. I bought a steam key on ebay for $20. I've put about 12 hours into it in the last 3 days. I'm hooked man.
This game can be summed up by just one word: plain. Being since this game was made by Frontier, I was expecting the same level of customization and detail as their previous game, Planet Coaster. But unfortunately it seems like most of the game's developmental efforts went into strictly grinding. JPOG did this way better...15 years ago. No benches, or fountains, nothing to decorate your park, or even rides! Come on, you get the hamster ball... and that's it. Seriously no hot air balloons? No tour cars? You also only get TWO viewing options for guests to see the dinos. One of my biggest complaints is that there's no color in the game. Honestly aside from the occasional banner and of course the dinosaurs, if you were to go down to ground level and look around, absolutely nothing looks like Jurassic Park. It's all just generic buildings and paths. Nothing jumps out and screams "you're in Jurassic Park/World". For me this game is a lot like No Man's Sky, where the hype was insane, and the first hour or two are amazing, but after that you realize you've seen literally every single thing it has to offer. I'm not a reviewer, but if I had a rating system I would say this game is disappointing. Not worth full price.
IGN made some really great points in their review, tho I dont agree with the 4.5 / 10 score. After playing for 50 hours of gameplay, 5 stars on every island, every dino 100% geno and all missions are completed I can honestly say it's a 7.5 / 10 this is not a bad game but it is not a game that feels like its worth $100, eventually the novelty of seeing dinos gets old quickly since theres minimal amounts of animations, the dino fights are quite boring, the maps are way too small and building is glitchy af, the voice overs are pretty poor, this is something you def want to wait for a sale unless youre like me and love anything with dinos, its really addictive gameplay but scarily almost like a freemium mobile game, grinding for 5 star rating on the different islands is such a chore because just as youre about to get it everything goes wrong like sabotage or a tornado which drops your rating to 1.5 this game is a great base for a game and it will be near perfect if the devs add more like amenities, maybe some pot plants and trashcans. also the game is plagued with many bugs many are not game breaking but they are annoying, I def recomend waiting for a patch or a sale before purchasing the game. Or dont wait because right now im going to redo all the islands but now with all items unlocked

And you can always upgrade the game if you enjoy it. But you are right, the dlc's are really overpriced. Which is why I dont think you should buy them (at least not right now at their current price). If you are interested just buy the base game and see if you like it.

No, shit only goes wrong if you designed you paddocks poorly, which rarely happens unless you never look at the in game dino stats, or more likely when you do division missions where they forcibly make the dinos rampage. Other than that, long storms are only problems if you dont use the highest tier electric fences and subsequently build proper storm coverage, assuming you are even playing on one of the islands that even has storms (Only Islands 2, 4 and 5 have them and Im pretty sure there is none on Nublar). Also power outage is only a problem when you make it a problem.
Just starting playing I'm digging it mostly- but I do think the game would have benefited a whole lot from having a water system that the player had to build underground. The power system is nice but I needed a little more complexity. Maybe ponds could run out of water and you could pump water around the park. Then rain could play a factor in replenishing as well or pumping some from the ocean etc. Lots they could have done with that. Then you could have certain aquatic dinosaurs that could infiltrate the water system and show up in ponds in land dinosaur cages if the player is neglecting them etc.
I really love the game, however, i got struggling a bit on Isla Sorna cause i did kinda too much expeditions on the other islands, which makes being friends with some factions harder cause for some ‘missions’ you need to dig up fossils, which i basicslly cant anymore. Also i wish i could do a bit more of terra forming and more decoration things. But the game itself is beautiful and i really enjoy it!
Ironfoot i didn't expect anything more really. Pratt and dallas-howard are the stars now. He had his time to shine in 2, which is my favorite of the series, why I love him so much lol
I just got jurassic world evolution for 14 days ago. I just love dinos and i have been playing this everyday since i bought it. I finally unlocked and completed all there is to do in this. Next im trying to build an ultimate park in sandbox mode. Love this game :)

Max well, this isn't really a dinosaur game as much as a Jurassic Park/world game, and Jurassic world does have mosa, pteranodon, etc.
The game is a little content dry but with what it has I find it very fun. It’s cool being able to pin any 2 Dino’s you want together to fight it out. It’s also sad seeing them die. I had watermelon, one of the first Dino’s you get and a small one, who’s pattern kinda looked like a watermelon. I had him for a while, but sadly he died last night when I was playing of old age. I also had one of my carnivores break out once and they ate 2 people before I could tranquilize him. Let’s just say my ratings went down.

game has shit tonn of potential. just needs more content. things like individual needs and preferences from literally every visitor like in previous JP operation genesis and also dino alpha system where dino AI forms a flock or a herd with alpha and they roam together. it was one of best parts of that game.

It needs more customisation options for me. I want to be able to place down different trees, benches, bins, etc. It should be, to me, a park building game first and foremost and with the little options available it just doesn't do it for me.

Haven't played the game yet waiting for release but from what I can see to have visitor stats for as many as I have seen in different videos would be a little much when your cursor is scrolling around and having a thousand individual pop ups

Quester91 Fixes of AI. New gene mechanics, sandbox is much more refined and has way more options. More islands and unique dinos. New terrain tools and decorations. Some new mechanics like Spinosaurs requiring wetland areas and being able to feed from fish feeders. Along with one or 2 new buildings like the Jeep Tour. That’s the big ones.

Quester91 It’s not needed but I’d suggest the Dr. Wu one is essential. The gene modification and new dinos are solid. The Claire DLC depends on if you like the dinos or the whole concept of it.

After buying it, I don't think its worth $50. I had my fun with it. I was grinding until I hit the T Rex, then messed around with it for some time. I got bored at 19 hours of playing the game and thats me being a huge Jurassic Park fan. If they add DLC and updates I'm sure ill come back. Maybe some AI improvements. Id also like a sense of fear when you go in the fences to feed the dinos. I wish the Dinos attacked the Rangers and possibly kill them. Just to add some weariness.
Edward A ya I was a bit disappointed with that since you know you have to get them in there to replenish and repair things. Maybe add an option to have RNG aggitation happen with them when the gyros or rangers are in the enclosure and they decide to attack.

Regnier575 ehhh not really the dinosaur AI needs improvements, we need better park customization to make it more unique than the rest because almost every park is the same, for some reason when herbivores graze it doesn't fill their hunger meter, the raptors don't jump on a a big dinosaur all at once which is a let down because they did in JPOG, there's no day/night cycle all the maps are set on a different time of day, and the maps are small they're not as big as they seem in, JPOG you were able to make your own map, aaaannndddd that's pretty much all I have to say about it
Park builders are cool and all, especially for Jurassic Park, but I still really want a story-driven, third person shooter game set on a run-down Isla Nublar that would play similar to The Last of Us, but with dinosaurs and maybe some more survival/crafting elements.

It is a very pretty game that that is all there is to it, especially when compared to JPOG.
Quick list of stuff missing or just weird design decisions for a park builder game
-Attendees have no personality
-They spawn from random buildings rather than come in through the entrance of the park
-Economy is incredibly simplistic and too easy to stay in the green
-Cannot look at individual guests
-Very limited number of ways to view dinosaurs (2 viewing areas and the gyroscope)
You also cant start a random park fresh with new islands. You are stuck with the 6 with the same rate of progression. Also the islands are very small and with the buildings being very picky about terrain, it gets much harder to build the way you want.
Problems with dinosaurs
-No species counter in park overview making keeping track of how many of what you have a chore
-Limited social interactions between dinosaurs (as in there is like 5-6 states they can be in eating, drinking, social, roaming, panicking and rampage, BTW social is just them standing in a circle and crying, no physical interactions like clashing horns of hitting heads)
-Canned and staged animations (compared to fluid ones from JPOG)
-Dinosaurs are very predicable (compared to JPOG)
-EVERY dinosaur can break a concrete wall
-Carnivores will always kill off all herbivores they can kill no matter the enclosure size and rather than killing when hungry
-A lot of skins look really bad, especially for the raptor
-Dinosaurs pose no threat to rangers (Large carnivores crushes jeeps in JPOG)
Essentially, the game is way to easy and once you know how the mechanics work, getting 5 stars on all islands is a cake walk.
And there a lot more wrong than was mentioned above.
Also dinosaurs do not leave when you try to get into an enclosure, even if they are right next to the open gate when your jeeps go through (Needs double gates like in the first movie).

I feel this is probably the most legit "review" I have seen for this so far. Everyone else seems to just be bashing it for reasons that I don't even feel are true or correct. But I do still feel I am the only person on the planet who feels it is 100% worth the price. But that is subjective, like every game. People still think Call of Duty is worth $60-$100 every single year while I would barely want to pay $20 for it anymore. But was also nice to actually bring up Operation Genesis. I was comparing this game to it the moment it was announced and still simply label it as Operation Genesis 2 with how much similarities it has. I am sure they took a lot from it (in a good way).

Watching the IGN review, I am certain the guy just straight up hates the entire genre. Which begs the question why he was reviewing it in the first place. But hey, least we know Black Ops 4 will be getting a solid 9.8/10 no matter what.

I would say 99% of their stuff is created purely because money. They can make money from RUclips or other means and they already have a large enough reputation to where they don't have to care at all. They are basically the video game media form of Activision and EA. They have 0 reason to actually care because they know they will still be making money anyway.

I like when a game has surprising levels of detail, which enhances the immersion. It appears that this game might lack that a bit. What I mean is that I want the game to do more than what I'd reasonably expect in terms of AI especially.

It is over priced, its focus is the cool dinosaurs, but they forget all about the guests. No simple things like toilets viewing points from paths or benches not even some small rides or attractions. After the first couple of islands the nostalgia wears off and it becomes mundane cause there isn't a lot to build or customize. Stock up food, shoot sick Dino's, send for fossils, research fossils, fix power outages then repeat.
Feel like if they allowed mods, most of the clunky stuff would be fixed.

I played this game for about 10 hours so far and I am really tired of it already. The game gets boring because it is too easy and also doesn't take long before you already max out a particular island. When I play a tycoon type game I want the long progression from a small park to a big one and it just isn't there. The game just seems like more of a grind to me. I know I sound negative but it is because this game had so much potential and instead is just another game with nothing very special.
The only reason I bought it was because there was an incredible deal on Steam.

No it does not take trial and error to know what each dinosaur requirements are. There is a stat chart on each dinosaur, some with numbers, detailing what you need. Only thing you need to guess is how much forest you need, usually it just either all forest or patches, and how big an enclosure you need which you can just guess from the size of each dinosaur.

I’m totally having fun, especially since the update just dropped this week adding new dinos for free. My only gripe is I wish there was an underwater aspect because I’d like to have mesosaures and what not like in the JP games on IOS.
As for the craziest park I built, that small Island with hardly any space. I had enough research to get an Indomanisrex and I didn’t feed it regular meat, I literally created other dinos for it to fight, kill and eat because as you know, the more actual kills the Dinos make, the more popular that specific dino becomes... until it dies.

It at some points can become a fun game to a point dont get me wrong but this guy does not understand the game and only got a basic idea of it, i can say after playing it for 50 hours this game is not nearly as good as he is making it out to be its not worth the money and most of the shit he is talking about isnt actually a good thing when you get start into it like the shops are broken and will randomly have 1000 people and then go to 0 for no reason (you can still watch people walk in and out but its still 0 so you make no money from it) or how he said the power outs lead to a risk of dino escape but that isnt true at all the dinos will not just trying and brake out if they are happy they wont even try and brake out so if the power goes out they have no idea and keep going on their days actually the dinos will brake out for almost any reason except the power outs or if they are starving oddly enough they will just die in the cage without even trying to brake out but to many trees they will brake to little trees they brake out out too many dinos they will brake out too little of those dinos and you can guess it. . . they also will brake out and regardless of the higher walls really they will only hold a dino a for a bit longer then a lesser wall but they will brake out regardless and i do mean brake out like even a small raptor that in JPOG would have to climb the fence in this game this little guy smashes right through it like its nothing but sticks holding it in then it will go on a murder spree killing human after human and i mean right after it kills a human it looks for the next but when my indom broke out he just when for a walk and kill only people he end up walking on it didnt even try and kill anything else it was so relaxed yet all carnos in this game will go for a killing spree if it gets out i had a copy of the raptor that i cant remember the name of the one with the crest on its head got like 20 people before the ACU got it.
I am just braking the tip of my rant on this game this was such a let down, its not worth the money and its not worthy of being the next JPOG that game did a way better job 15 years ago then these idiots did with this game. (I am a little butt hurt about this game being a letdown i know but its still truly a let down)

i would love it if this game had more things to do when you're freely exploring. think of how awesome this could be if it had RPG, strategy, and some 3rd or 1st person shooting along with creating your park. the potential is huge.

I bought this game for a buddy of mine for $15 on Xbox One. I didn't think I'd be into it at all, but after 5 hours of watching him make a park and barking orders at him with his girlfriend I had to have it. I bought a steam key on ebay for $20. I've put about 12 hours into it in the last 3 days. I'm hooked man.
This game can be summed up by just one word: plain. Being since this game was made by Frontier, I was expecting the same level of customization and detail as their previous game, Planet Coaster. But unfortunately it seems like most of the game's developmental efforts went into strictly grinding. JPOG did this way better...15 years ago. No benches, or fountains, nothing to decorate your park, or even rides! Come on, you get the hamster ball... and that's it. Seriously no hot air balloons? No tour cars? You also only get TWO viewing options for guests to see the dinos. One of my biggest complaints is that there's no color in the game. Honestly aside from the occasional banner and of course the dinosaurs, if you were to go down to ground level and look around, absolutely nothing looks like Jurassic Park. It's all just generic buildings and paths. Nothing jumps out and screams "you're in Jurassic Park/World". For me this game is a lot like No Man's Sky, where the hype was insane, and the first hour or two are amazing, but after that you realize you've seen literally every single thing it has to offer. I'm not a reviewer, but if I had a rating system I would say this game is disappointing. Not worth full price.
IGN made some really great points in their review, tho I dont agree with the 4.5 / 10 score. After playing for 50 hours of gameplay, 5 stars on every island, every dino 100% geno and all missions are completed I can honestly say it's a 7.5 / 10 this is not a bad game but it is not a game that feels like its worth $100, eventually the novelty of seeing dinos gets old quickly since theres minimal amounts of animations, the dino fights are quite boring, the maps are way too small and building is glitchy af, the voice overs are pretty poor, this is something you def want to wait for a sale unless youre like me and love anything with dinos, its really addictive gameplay but scarily almost like a freemium mobile game, grinding for 5 star rating on the different islands is such a chore because just as youre about to get it everything goes wrong like sabotage or a tornado which drops your rating to 1.5 this game is a great base for a game and it will be near perfect if the devs add more like amenities, maybe some pot plants and trashcans. also the game is plagued with many bugs many are not game breaking but they are annoying, I def recomend waiting for a patch or a sale before purchasing the game. Or dont wait because right now im going to redo all the islands but now with all items unlocked

@@kamikawaiikiller6713 if you look on RUclips and ask for jurassic world evolution tornado help, you should at least get some clips on how to make sure you're buildings deal less damage during a storm.
@@kamikawaiikiller6713 A bit late to answer but there is a building you can build that has to deal with storms and whatnot and putting a few of them around your park lowers how much damage buildings take during storms.

@@DjMatrix619 The game is a year old. It is worth the 13 if you are interested. It has enough content for easily 20 hours if you just play the story missions. And you can always upgrade the game if you enjoy it. But you are right, the dlc's are really overpriced. Which is why I dont think you should buy them (at least not right now at their current price). If you are interested just buy the base game and see if you like it.

No, shit only goes wrong if you designed you paddocks poorly, which rarely happens unless you never look at the in game dino stats, or more likely when you do division missions where they forcibly make the dinos rampage. Other than that, long storms are only problems if you dont use the highest tier electric fences and subsequently build proper storm coverage, assuming you are even playing on one of the islands that even has storms (Only Islands 2, 4 and 5 have them and Im pretty sure there is none on Nublar).
Also power outage is only a problem when you make it a problem.
Just starting playing I'm digging it mostly- but I do think the game would have benefited a whole lot from having a water system that the player had to build underground. The power system is nice but I needed a little more complexity. Maybe ponds could run out of water and you could pump water around the park. Then rain could play a factor in replenishing as well or pumping some from the ocean etc. Lots they could have done with that. Then you could have certain aquatic dinosaurs that could infiltrate the water system and show up in ponds in land dinosaur cages if the player is neglecting them etc.

I really love the game, however, i got struggling a bit on Isla Sorna cause i did kinda too much expeditions on the other islands, which makes being friends with some factions harder cause for some ‘missions’ you need to dig up fossils, which i basicslly cant anymore. Also i wish i could do a bit more of terra forming and more decoration things. But the game itself is beautiful and i really enjoy it!

Ironfoot i didn't expect anything more really. Pratt and dallas-howard are the stars now. He had his time to shine in 2, which is my favorite of the series, why I love him so much lol

I just got jurassic world evolution for 14 days ago. I just love dinos and i have been playing this everyday since i bought it. I finally unlocked and completed all there is to do in this. Next im trying to build an ultimate park in sandbox mode. Love this game :)
