For everyone hating on how I was riding take into considering this is quite literally the smallest bike I had rode in over 5 months at the time and it was the FIRST ride on the bike. Of course I’m not gonna be riding like a pro the first time I rode the bike
im jealous about how good trail you are driving in your place in sweden where i live there is much hole in trails

Instead of complaining about 5th gear being too slow how about you kick it down a gear and actually ride higher in the power band... 5th will always bogg down like that when you riding slow before entering that gear 🤦♂️
It had a 11 tooth front sprocket and a 53 tooth rear sprocket. It was literally geared for a motocross track, it went 43mph. Also you have to think I literally just came from a XR650r and onto a rmz250, of course it’s gonna feel like a kids bike lmao
Try a 14 front and 49 rear mine has hit 83 and wheelies are nice👌🏻

The xr650 will run 97mph stock. It absolutely eats any 250 and most 450s any day of the week. Have you lost your mind? 😂
@@WheelieWeasel it’s not about top speed. The acceleration in comparison sucks. A fast XR is still slower than a modern race bike. It’s just the technology. Great bike though
I don't think he means it is "slow" I think he means it runs out of gears too quickly, which limits the top speed. Prolly be better off on a yz250fx, or wr250f for trail / road use
Exactly. The bike isn’t slow when compared trail bikes but it is slow when compared to my xr650 I just came off of or the 450s I’m used to. The gearing isn’t as close knit on those bikes

I got a 450 and I’m like 5’6. I will jump on someone else and shit just feels weird I can’t even leave 2nd gear riding trails

Trust me I know. I don’t run 45mph 😂. You gotta put yourself in my shoes though. I just came off of 450s and a xr650r for the past 5+ months. I hadnt had anything this small for MONTHS and when I did it was a yz250f that would absolutely eat this rmz250 alive.
I have had 3 Rmz250’s including this one and this one was by far the weakest one I’ve owned. On top of that explain to me why suzuki has lost the 250/450 shoot out every year for the last 20+ years. It’s because they’re outdated and slow compared to every other race bike

Bro can, I just really didn’t like this rmz at all. I came off a xr650 to get on a 250 lol, that don’t work much. That’s like hopping off a Crf450r and onto a crf230 lol

I’ve had 2 and one was pretty okay and this one was weak lol. Definitely just the bike. Overall the RMZ is okay but definitely the weakest of all bikes for sure
I can’t tell if this guy is serious or if he doesn’t know how to ride. Countless times you would shift gears when your rpms where still climbing and complain how it wasn’t gaining speed and so slow. And on a few trails you’d say your “5th tapped” even though you were blipping the throttle and it was clearly bogging. Smh man learn to ride
Go watch some of my other videos lol. I can ride just fine, it seemed like I was shifting but I was tryna grab another gear and it wasn’t there. I would try to grab a 6th gear and it not there lol My previous bike before this was a xr650r and I went down to a motocross geared rmz250, of course it’s gonna feel slow. The bike maybe topped out at 47mph if that compared to the 90+ I was used to lol. Yes a rmz250 geared for track is slow
The reason I was “blipping” the throttle is because I’m not trying to be 4th and 5th gear high rpm constantly lol I don’t have the money for a rebuild
My 2013 Rmz 250 top out at 73 mph max throttle so that’s cap
@@thekidd1856 absolutely not cap lmao. Not all rmz250 are geared the same. If you gear them for a motocross track you can literally eliminate all top speed.
Do your research on how gearing works before claiming “cap”
@@thekidd1856 I had a 2010 that would do 86mph, this 2012 the way it was geared wouldn’t even do 50mph. Gearing can make or break a bikes speed
Build your own bike from scratch and give that bike to someone who would appreciate it. Stop whining!
I've owned well over 500 bikes in 17 years of riding. I've owned 3 RMZ 250s. So it's safe to say that I know what kind of bikes I like and what kind I don't.
Also I'm not whining. What's wrong with voicing my opinion on a bike that I own and got by myself?

Bike is bad and I’m am decent. Just because I’m not riding my hardest doesn’t mean I’m a bad rider lol. I was showing a friend a trail he has never been on while riding this bike for the FIRST time. Of course I’m not going to be riding fast
things is not bc you are bad things are bc you want to live longer than chance to get more spin in wheel to risk to lose your control and risk for dead we need to be more carefully to ride these 2 wheels strong horsepower machine lol
No offense but you have no buisness calling that bike slow when all you do is pin it on wide open straights when you have no technical skill 😂 those are pro race bikes and you call it slow sure it’s top speed isn’t fast on the street but that’s not what it’s meant for it’s ment to be ripped around a track which obv you can’t do judging by how slow you ride maybe your slow the bikes fast you shouldent be on anything more than like a crf100
Bc I’m not tryna showcase skill in the video, I’m playing around in the woods showing a buddy some trails. It’s 110% slow though and I have all rights to say that. Compared to every single bike I’ve had this is the slowest 250. I had a 150rb bored to a 160 that was faster. Most 85s I’ve rode and the one I had was faster. The 65 I had after this had more torque. I’ve had Rmz250’s before 2 other ones to be exact and they were quicker than this. I’m just say THIS rmz250 is slow, not ALL Rmz250’s are slow.

in facts 450cc is more pro race rider than 250cc today lol
