Customizing/changing the FET boost is the most addicting drive pedal thing to do on the unit lol. Add more drive, a little mid/high mid bump, change diode to Germanium: best!

Thank you Cooper. Your courses on Fractal are fantastic. Vemuram pedals are worth every penny. The inclusion of sounds from JanRay, Zen Drive and King of tones were significant factors in my decision to buy a FM9T II.
I'll be digging into the Full OD because the Tube Screamer is a little too squeaky (chimey) for me. Dam, those licks on the Jam Ray.

Hi Cooper - I'm not missing my Helix in any way. My FX III is the better beast, by miles. The only thing I miss, and wow do I miss it, is their Minotaur pedal, based on the Klone Centaur. Seeing as they go for like 10K used, it was nice to have it in the Helix pedal list and it was literally the only overdrive I ever used or needed. Best pedal ever in fact. I think I read in a forum we were never getting a Klone Centaur for our Fractals, so I wondered if this was true? And why not? It would be the icing on the cake of the greatest tool ever invented for guitarists. I need it for Christmas, darn it!
It's a touchy subject but there exists some bad blood between FAS creators and Bill Finnegan. There are some details posted here and there on TGP, and on the FAS forum, but that's the major gist of it.
Some believe Finnegan isn't a very gracious human despite his talent and passion for pedal circuits. It's said Mr. Finnegan is his own biggest fan; that kind of situation.... so recognition of the world of Klon products is a no-go.
If you look around on the forum, there are some recommendations to get you close to the Klon, mostly using a clean boost and some EQ tweaks.

That is it, the Greatest sounding Hendrix Lead tone, that he ever did, the SINGING/Sustaining Cleanish sounding LEAD sound, so Classic for sure!! 7:46.
I tend to favor not using any gain/overdrive pedals when I create presets, but use the gain within the amp, and then just use a boost pedal to drive it harder. I prefer the tones I get with that. Thoughts?
In each example, I thought the starting tone was fantastic but the pedals came on dark and boxy. Does the fractal take actual petals?
When is it expected available "The Complete FM9 Master Class with Cooper Carter", being delayed over in to 2022? Any consideration for already subscribed existing Axe III and FM3 student?

My big issue with axe fax is you don’t get the excitement when driving downtown to the Music Store with your precious money to buy that special pedal that your dreamed….
