Talking about composition TERU goes more for heavy riffs and shredding (listen to zombie and the red carpet day) and HIZAKI goes more for melodic stuff but anyway I think both are awesome guitarists and they complement each other and TERU does not only play 3 string arpeggios, his solo in the revenant choir is a 5 string arpeggio, well just listen to Silent Knight that song has more complicated arpeggios
I have to agree with you on the fact that Teru can outshine Hizaki technicality wise however, like most of you stated, hizaki outshines teru with his melodic compositions and musicality
Is this considered power metal? (I know it is Visual Kei duh but it sounds like kinda like power). If it is then it can my favorite power band (after Kamelot maybe) Changing topics, sup with the tags? XD
Teru is a much better guitarist when it comes to Technicality , so as a guitarist i prefer him way over hizaki how ever in terms of artistic sense i would choose hizaki

Hizaki & Teru are both the reason i listen to Japenese bands so to like one more than the other is impossible for me.
Hizaki by the hair. Together they are one monster sound. I can't imagine separating them. It would be a major loss for music.
