British humour was once about laughing at ourselves and others. The bee bee cee will sadly never go back to that.
British comedy back and a day was for a common blood country. Better days all round back then, in the comedy stakes. They didn't care about bloody "HURTY WORDS!!!" People today have their politically correct comedy narratives decided for them... In other words they are in an indirect way being told what is acceptable comedy and what is not? "STUFF ALL THAT!!!" I think as I want to think! I don't think what "THEY" want me to think? "SOD THE BBC!!!!"
The Golden era of Tv & comedy has long gone. They han ged all of the comedians' , and bu rned all the books to make way for this: '19 84'

What is this BBC thing?
A typical example of its demise ? I watched and enjoyed the first season of Wolf Hall and have just tried to watch season 2... my goodness in comparison its dreadful ! box ticking at its most horrid got painfully past the first 2 then switched off.
Mrs Browns flipping Crap I watch 5 minutes of first episode and switched TV off and never saw that crap again it's total Rubbish.

All the best comedic material is from the past, modern attempts at comedy are just awful.
I always go back to the old stuff for a laugh, whether its Jethro on stage or Leonard Rossiter on the TV.
Liver Birds I liked Last of the Summer Wine
The Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin was just wonderful, the original one that is.
