Our generations, we Sikhs do not celebrate rakhri with tilak it’s a hindu tradition, we simply tie rakhi and offer sweets to brother and he will either give money or a gift in return..
Ansh Rajput Rocks you are a Hindu maybe you are not familiar, Tilak is a solely Hindu tradition, in Sikhism, we do not use tilak in any tration, it’s not part of Sikhism at all. You are confused because people lives in cities often go by flow as some rakhis comes with tilak they use it or some couples marry inter cast so they using it otherwise, you can search or question any Sikh, we don’t use Tilak in Sikhism however, I personally have no issues with it, even in abroad, we Sikhs do not use Tilak because again Sikhism doesn’t preach any of these things
