I am waiting 2-3 years so can save and get a motorbike license before get Damon if out then, was first looking at ebikes that go like 55mph (ebikes as in have pedals too)
Gasoline motorcycles will be no match for these electric bikes in the future and law enforcement are going to hate these because their not going to hear them a mile away.
@starshot5172 if you run internet off of it it's going to have a IP address and shut off that way. Sorry but he's right. And if you turn it into a hot spot. Either would be enough to install a virus or just turn it off.
i have energica - 21,5kW battery - real world range - 100-5% - some normal some fast ride - is 150-160km - usally about 200km - super agressive ride with fast ride - maybe 100
Bonus annoyance they have electric motors not engines…there is a difference. Do you consider your vacuum cleaner or washing machine to have an ‘engine’..no! It is a motor. Engines burn fuel..either inside them like piston or jet engines or in a firebox like a steam engine. We should encourage the correct terminology use and stop ignoramuses gaslighting us into saying it wrong. That grotesque Voxan thing at the end doesn’t count…it is not road or town friendly and practically just a straight liner. So the LS218 is the fasted real motorcycle.
Price is the thing that needs to be addressed for me. I can accept the rather pathetic range you get if you use the bike properly to have a bit of fun. Also warantee 2 years on many bikes is pathetic, should be like a car and get at least 5 years on everything, maybe longer on the battery too.
@@jlove24 I wouldn't call a 90's motorcycle a hyperbike, youkno a Ducati 900 monster from 2000 got better numbers than all those bikes and the Ducati monster isn't even a sport bike.
Very interesting video thanks for making it, I think the best bike would be the 15minute charge time cause who wants to sit at a charging station for 2 hours 😆 Only issue I'd have with buying these sort of bikes is they are new having not many miles or years on them to where we don't really know what major issues might accure in time, like battery or engine life. Will warranty on the bikes last long enough incase there are bugs that haven't been discovered yet... I wonder. Until there are thousands made and sold and rode for years we just can't know what issues may come or what the prices to repair these bikes might be.. Being almost right out of experiment/testing stages seems a super long warranty would boost sales just incase they have bugs to workout and or a simple recall system set and ready to help the customers if something were to go wrong after mass production.
Before I would ever consider owning a battery powered bike, they're going to have to come out with bikes that accommodate a passenger, be practical for everyday living and loose the "Rocket" Cafe racer design. I need to be able to stretch out to be comfortable, not constantly in a fetal position.
@@golkor9879 ...I'm a little surprised no one has come out with one yet. Not even Harley Davidson. I need the freedom of movement. Being all cramped up would just be too uncomfortable for me. And having a passenger seat is a must.
Agreed, I bet a passenger would reduce the range massively a bit like towing with an electric car does, you probably get less than half the normal range.
Question how long is the battery last at full till one two minutes? Those bikes are for people that haven't done anything or never will do anything and hell if they got a scar or two!
Crazy price difference that few have are ridiculous compared to best superbikes out there. I like how they say 0 emissions for electric vehicles but to create batteries and bikes alot of oil is used, then if the battery catches fire it is so dangerous and hard to extinguish. While bellowing smoke for ages until stop. Avagud1 but it's always 2bangas for me.
And people forget that we burn fossil fuels oil call all those things to get the electricity necessary to charge electric vehicles of any kind of whether there be an electric bicycle or an electric car
Well, they’re still not where they need to be! These need to charge as quickly as their 4 wheeled counterparts. No one wants be waiting 40 minutes+ to recharge. They’re almost on par with traditional bikes in terms of acceleration. Top speed….needs a retune like the speed limited motorbikes. I think it’ll be a few more years before these are common place. Certainly true for Australia due to the lack of EV infrastructure.
Energica's are available now. And what do you need to do more than 200km/h for in Australia? Retune to allow higher speeds will cook the battery and motor too.
I still wonder why they make some of those bikes so small compare to the driver size... Look like they are driving a kid toy or something, this part of esthetic never get address or criticize at all.
I don't know what's wrong with you guys but you did miss one Harley-Davidson Bueller what that's not on the list not worthy enough that's American Muscle
I am surprised that their is no asian companies at all.... we need to change this by more or more powerful ev bike design and developed by asian companies western companies are not looking good design
Shame on you for ignoring the what I consider to be the best electric motorcycles to date: The Finnish manufactured Verge! It is what it does not have that sets it a part! No transmission or drive module! It does not need one! No back brake! It does not need one. Simple clean lines from it's radical design, configuration & styling. Whether it should have been First is debatable? But to not ignore it altogether smells of ignorance or back handers!
It’s a list for the 10 fastest electric bikes the title is 10 fastest electric bikes. The verge is slower than all of them hence why it’s not on the list.

all moto s have half the highway range .. these numbers are ..... uhm ... they are misleading .. I don't mind the real numbers but please give them ...
I'm building a waterbike . Water is self renewing . Tired of the electric vehicle craze that everybody seems to think is better than gasoline. It's not, it's much worse. Water contains hydrogen which is easily separated by using electrolysis.
Electric motorcycles don't have an engine. * I made that comment before watching the rest of the video, where you proceeded to say "engine" about 10 more times. An engine get power from combustion. Motors and engines are two different things.
For me, the best overall is the Energica Ribelle and in 2nd the Evoque. Charging time is essential.
Driving that Evoke from Paris to London without stopping, now that would be an interesting ride! :)
a gas bike with power and no noise ..that would be great !!!!!!
Yes I bet they won't be happy arround the tunnel with somebody that doesn't stop to get on the train. Maybe you could drive circles on a boat ;-)
I can't comprehend why these engineers are not using spin wheel technology that charges the motorcycle while driving it, like some cars have.

Indeed, it is an "electric rocket on wheels" built for breaking speed records. But is an incredibly cool machine, nonetheless....!

How smooth is it in glide mode?
Nice tunes! I love Karl Casey
