Tip: “Bernau celebrates 100 years of the S-Bahn”

The S-Bahn has been running through Berlin for more than 100 years now, connecting the districts and suburbs just outside Berlin. The Stettiner Bahn was the first electric railway in Berlin to begin regular service on August 8, 1924. For this reason, the city of Bernau is celebrating the 100th anniversary and the successful connection to the capital with the S2.
