I believe this song is about a couple who weren't ready to have a child. So they had a appochion But when they were ready, they couldn't do it for some reason. The doctor told them to give there unborn child a name and make a grave for it. Skillet heard of this, named the child lucy and did this beautiful song for the couple and lucy.
