Nice recovery, sir. You two are woodland warriors. Love those animals.
I love how you just go to work! You're not one of these RUclipsrs that talk way too much and don't do any work! Thank you!
@ hometownacres
Hell yeah I like the way he works he gets it done both of them get it done and I love Katie working cuz I never seen a woman who could use a hammer on either hand that's wild
Yes, I love more work less talk
@@marykennedy3139 agree .!
My wife Kathy likes how you work together. She said the end window was perfect. We enjoy your videos.
I remember a guy who wasn’t sure how to frame a wall . You two have come so far , hold your heads up high
Great job Greg fixing the window and adding the window on the south side works and Steve is so stinking cute❤️🇨🇦
Very well done. The gray matter works wonders when you give it a chance for it to show when ideas turn into reality. Well done.
Katie, another great intro and quality editing with great content. Greg, you recovered and now the windows are installed with much light beaming in this winter. Blessings to you both.
i would be literally crying if i had to do that. Alls well that ends well though. Your videos have inspired me to get back on the tools again after many years. Keep up the good work.
Greg, even when you're upset, you are so classy. I can't imagine you being not family-friendly enough for us to watch. I laughed out loud at your apology for not sharing some of your work with us due to the language. 😂
Also: way to save $2,000. That is admirable. 💪🏼
Re-framing was the way to go! Just some hard work, good for your soul. Looks great ❤
Wow! Your still getting plenty of light n view out the windows ❤
Great video, particularly enjoyed watching Greg running himself ragged over the porch windows! But you did it, and all is well. Love the chickens with their big fluffy bottoms. Stay safe and continue the entertainment!! 😘😘
Good job on the windows y'all. Love that little goat.
Peace and Love, Tim
Thanks 👍
I watched another You Tuber a few months ago. She had to redo the front doorway and three big window openings - wrong measurements on her part. She made the same decision Katie and you did. Just more work and her family helped her out too.
Love your channel!
wow, respect for that big trimming in first window.
Yes... It was a Blessing!
Wow looks fantastic now the windows are all done xx
That gives a whole new twist on "measure twice - cut once!" Add to that "and take into account proper configuration!"
Well, your hard work paid off.
Will you be moving the door from the main to the addition or leaving the addition without a lock?
we'll move the door once the insulation is in, but we'll board up the original opening until the messy finish work is completed
The feather colours on the Cockerel are incredible……and nice choice of music again 👏
Aw man I love you guys! Watching from the UK, love how you do stuff and seeing your progress. Top job with the reframing Greg. You both deserve so much after all your hard work and dedication to your animals, your lovely home and each other. Sending lots of love. David UK
The windows look great and so does the small addition, you got so much done today,
Good job Greg and Katie ❤❤
Hell of a job framing those windows Hell of a job .
I think the mistake on the windows turned out to be a better look 👍 Great job- love your videos ❤
Saving the Day Saving $2000 great work Greg. Amazing extra space and Katie is happy the freezer will fit under the Window. Love how Steve pretends he is Inspecting the work. You two are so close to all your animals, Katie just calls and they come running over to you. Love ❤️ to you both xxx
I have to praise you on how beautiful and well those animals work
I really like the window layout now😊
Greg the strongman, amazing what you can lift.
Vous êtes deux personnes incroyable je vous suis depuis le début de la construction et vous avez fait un château comme on dit en France je vous aime surtout Katy et bravo à vous 😢. René
Nice job y’all. Looks much better with the window on the South end.
Awesome job guys, I really like the window on the South side, really opens up that room, good choice on using what you have and turned out perfect, A++++
Very nice work, a beautiful place, love all your chickens
Best way! Just make the best of a bad situation. When life gives you lemons just make lemonade! Great job. Love your videos.
🌼 good day wonderful folks 🌼
Great job buddy. I know you won’t make that mistake again. That’s how we all learned I have only been there may be a couple of handful of times lol. That’s how you become a good well rounded, carpenter, and builder.
Love you guy's.
I feel Greg has proven himself plenty skilled by now and the speed framing was a nice change! Loved it. And for those who feel the need to be critical, like I see the few who are, they can watch it at x.25 speed... lol. Great stuff!
Making the holes great again :^)
Your pets are toooo cutes , the extension room looks so nice , keep your house more comfortable.
Amazing work you two ! What a long day successfully completed . Bravo 👏🏻
The mess is part of the finished product. 👍 It looks normal to me. 😁 Also, I’m tickled you decided to rework the wall, instead of new windows!
I love the way it looks with the new windows, you both done a outstanding job !!!😊😊😊😊
Great way to make happy holes. Looks awesome with all the windows in place.
ПРивіт з Карпат!Удачі Вам❤😊
You both have come such a long way on everything you have done on your property 👍
Awesome, didn't think you would be having a video today!
Muchas Gracias, greetings from Spain
That really gave the house curb appeal 👍
I knew you two would figure it out,two heads better than one especially geniuses😊🍂🌾🌾🇺🇲
Well done, Greg and Katie!
With the window at the other end (above freezer) you’ll get a nice cross ventilation!! Looks very nice
You two are just amazing. Love you
🌼When this is finished I want you both to give yourself a huge pay raise🌼
Windows look good 👍 love you're flowers.Hi from Colorado Springs 😀
Enjoy your videos so very much, keep up the good editing, Katie .
🌼wow you solid window 1:12 headers are awesome awesome awesome, you crushed it Greg🌼
Great solution on the windows.. I think it looks better with the window at the end. The hard work paid off
Cut to size beat to fit. Very wise decision on reframing the windows great video.
Great job Guy’s! That was a lot of work but as usual you accomplished your goal🙏🙏🙏
I knew ypu would end up doing the "right thing" to save money. It's now thoroughly over-engineered and the windows will work! Well done, guys!
Looking very good. When its getting too warm through the south facing window, make a removebel screen or shutter for that window on the outside. Put it up when necessary, if not do not.
It looks all so good.
You both do a great job . Ty for sharing this!!😊
And you can double glaze these days to keep the real hot weather out! ❤
I knew it ! Aa ha you are human after all Greg ! Glad to hear that. When I ran my tree removal company , my lot clears for builders is where I learned many carpenters were always throwing temper tantrums which made me feel good about me losing control over my work. I hate this cliché but keep it real dude.....🙂
Great ideal guys. Just leave it up to Greg to make it happen. You guys rock.
Great work you two!! It looks terrific!
You 2 are the best thanks for making my day.
Stephen has to be with Katie so cute ❤ you’re House is so beautiful and the entire homestead is coming together amazing the total transformation over 5 years is nice and you two did it yourselves the way you want and the outcome is awesome. 👍👍👌❤❤
Mistakes happen and It's a lot easier fix at this stage than a finished building. Work with what you've got and eventually it comes together. Don't give up. It's just one of life's chellanges.
Don't forget to change the oil in the front axle and both hubs. The old oil will let you know how it is performing under the conditions you use it.
You two are so funny. You did it though and it looks GREAT?
Thought you didn't want a south facing window though??? You could maybe put a shitter up.
Good job.❤😊
My boyfriend tried to do the same thing as in this video. Now we have a new couch and lots of laughs👄
The windows are great!! And done!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Amazing job to adapt your project and utilize the material you had. Once you complete the finishing, no one will know that any adjustments were made (other than your videos 😆)
😂🤣😂Wheres LadyKatie.... she always keeps you in check. Lol, skribble Window measurements on a wall somewhere, easy way to check yurself. Carry on, save 2K, Oh well, it looks Great, such is life. 👍👍🛠️🔧🛠️Thats a proper covered back patio, and storage. 🙏🙏🙏Be blessed. Glad the injuries are healing properly.
Great save guys.
HAMMERTIME.....😂😂
Winter is coming.
its hitting 28 c again though...
Greg. Spot On Bud, What's a Few Bumps in the Road if You can't revise the Game Plan with Katie.
Great job Greg 👍
Hi Katie & Greg & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Katie & Greg & Friends Randy
What a carpenter !
Looks better to me. We have both styles of windows in our house. The slidders provide more light than the others.
Great job Greg
Very nice job an the windows look great in that configuration
Nice progress!
Looks good folks
I made this same mistake but I installed mine.
There is an ancient phrase from millennia ago, that you don't go to the casino with the money you want to take, but with the money that you have
Hi Greg &katie👋
You forget who's the boss .you did not want the window on that wall but she did.lol.been married for 50 year so I new the window was going in great job guys.
You can put a window on that other wall just get some dark tint to put over the glass. It’ll keep the sun from coming in.
Hi Greg I'm so impressed how you just get on with the work get it done. As you're on your own property do you have to stick to code on what you build and I'll never seen someone come out and check your work ? .
Keep up the great work both of you.
Ralph in the UK
Looking awesome
Good decision, great job.
Just sharing, “Rip that down”, Tyvek doesn’t rip. There is all sorts of little fibers in it that stop it from ripping. Ty elk is used in all sorts of things, like for hazmat, etc.
Great job!
I know you would prefer to have the other windows, so they can all match, but we have sliding windows, and we really like them. I have always have problems with double hung windows, and the frames take more of the light.
In regards to the insulation Aspen chewed up, that would be great for the thin arms between the modified framing.
Good Decision!
