I'm so excited that I was able to bring Aethoro on board to this project. His music and art has been a colossal inspiration to my current aesthetic and it felt fitting to collab with him on the emotional climax of the EP.
And of course, the grand return of Mizu was a must. Mans has a golden voice and impeccable songwriting skills. I sent him a really basic idea/theme, and he morphed it into such an emotional little earworm.
This was by far the longest I have ever spent on a track, and probably the most challenging song I've ever worked on. Aethoro had a project file, Mizu had a project file, and I had 3 project files (ALL MAXED OUT.) One of them had the bulk of the song and a scrapped 2nd drop. I thought the original 2nd drop was anticlimactic so I ended up just flipping the audio itself into the current 2nd drop. And then I stem mixed it all down at the end... clocking into around 360 hours on this song as a whole.
Combining our 3 styles into a cohesive result that still served its utility as part of the story was no easy task. But I'm really happy with what we came up with

Dude I’m so glad I am able to enjoy all five tracks on your new Moongloom ep. all of them have some interesting similarities of the sound design that has that beautiful pretty sparkly majestic feel and character that it absolutely has in the production. I've got to say, I did not believe it at first when I saw your name on Disciple. I mean, that's quite the genre shift. ^^

The intro starts with a beautiful piano section that is a great tone setter, as just after these incredible vocals from Mizu come in with an INCREDIBLE melody that I have not stopped singing since I heard it. The song is about chasing a dream and when you get there it's hollow and doesn't feel worth, which makes Goodbye by Skybreak hit that much harder. WAIT WHAT WHERE'D THAT DROP COME FROM THAT'S RIGHT ITS THE COOLEST THING YOU'VE EVER HEARD. The section right after is literally the most beautiful thing ever with the vocals leading into the beautiful BEAUTIFUL instrumentation that is AAAAHHHHH and then everything goes silent which makes you focus on what the vocals are going to say which is a heartfelt message that ties it all together beautifully with epic instrumentation that builds up to the drop beautifully, with a callback to Aurora from their previous EP. The last drop absolutely delivers with the powerful melodicity and wall of sound. What a beautiful masterpiece my god. The final piano outro plays callbacks to previous songs from Skye's discography such as Moonglow, Crystal Heart and Aurora which is an incredible way to tie off the EP. I love it so much.

When the first reference to "Aurora" hits,I was like "yooo that's cool".And when the outro starts playing I expected another one.And when the second one hits I swear the god, I almost cried.Thank you,Skybreak.

This song is my #1 of BO2022 of this year. No kidding here, this has a lot of emotions, the last drop is beats everything, even Brute, even Revolution, whatever those tracks is heavy is, there's none can beat this emotional blaster.

I think for the cut off parts on the second drop it's "Oh of their own" and "I finally found my home". It's just blended in with the sound design. Might totally be wrong but that's what I heard lol
Holy shit this is my favorite song from this ep I like the other songs as well but this is my personal favorite because it helps me get through my darkest days, We Love You Skybreak 💙🦌
I'm still so happy that Skybreak came back to disciple to release another EP! Imo this EP is even better than the first one. Great work Skybreak and everyone else who helped create this wonderful EP!
I love that little callback to Aurora before the last drop. In fact, I feel like that last drop is an Aurora VIP more than anything

Have to say that this is one of the best songs i've heard on my life, for sure is in my top 10
We have some insane vocals by Mizu, the gorgeous piano work by Sky and Aethoro and the amazing drops (primarily the 2nd drop, OMG HOWW)
