I met your grandfather and your father in Jackson in the summer of 1979. A friend of mine was working for Jack Dennis at the time and took me over to what I guess was your grandfathers shop, it's a great memory for me.
135 Dia Rikki! If you can find them, then a TMC version would work just as well or any number of Heavy wire Caddis/scud hooks. There is a lot going on with this one. 3x tippet and a 6 wt rod should be about right I should think. It's not a hard fly to tie, just a lot of stuff on the hook.
