  • My fiancée was a very good sport as I explained the pressures this unit was running. With a condensing coil as plugged as this one was, the high pressure will eventually damage or cause the unit to shut down.

Very informative video. I like how you explained the situation with the high pressures and not to be fooled by the SH. Thank you.

No, just check if the coil is plugged. If it is rinse it out good with the garden hose, make sure your air filter is clean, and your indoor coil doesn't have any ice in it. At that point if the system still has trouble, it likely need service from a technician.

Hahahah, not exactly. 😂 Although, I did install an AC yesterday! It's been warm the last few days, but is going to get cold again. This video was taken I think back in August, I just didn't get it uploaded.

@@ReubenSahlstrom wall that makes sense, otherwise i'm sure you would have left that poor man's low ambient kit on until spring.

Whenever I had to check a central air system that a customer said wasn't cooling, the first thing I would look at is the outside coils. I f they were dirty, I would clean them before I put any gauges on the system. Always look for the obvious stuff, like dirty air filter, burnt off wires, stuff like that before putting gauges on. Good video still.
