Thank you for this much needed tutorial Nina! Well I passed sculpting, contouring, the underpainting and base. But failed on the brow and eye makeup! I need more practice for sure! Hope the next makeup I do I'll pass with flying colours!!! ❤
Really good tips i defiantly make so many of them mistakes!!!The diffrence between the mistakes and and the right things to do defiantly have a huge diffrence.
Love your basics tutorials! You make me giggle with them! I think many people just apply make up without thinking about what it is the product being applied is trying to achieve. If you step back and slow down you realise that make up is about highlighting your BEST features, whilst toning down the no so good parts of our faces. It’s all about light and darkness, but in soft focus as opposed to harshness. Habits are formed and people get stuck in a rut and make up in general then becomes boring. Regarding make up techniques and think yours is one of THE best channels for tutorials. Greetings from the UK too Nina 🇬🇧 😊

Wow this was a super useful video! I don’t underpaint and not a fan of sponges or puffs, I prefer to use brushes for everything. I just lightly dust on blush, bronzer and highlighter, and only contour on special occasions or something.

Hi Nina. Like this tutorial. One side of my jaw area is chubbier than the other side and I always have trouble making it the same as the other side (less chubby). Any recommendations? Btw I have medium tone skin (like the shade Cafe Au Lait of the Doll 10 eyeshadow stick).
I'm doing better with concealer and contouring with concealer, but I still am having trouble with eyeshadow and eyeliner, not to mention my brows. I'm still viewing your videos and hoping to gain skill as I go along.
You’re videos are EXCELLENT! I’ve been making some of those mistakes. 🫣 But not anymore. 😊 I don’t use the grayish contour colors, because they just look muddy.
Have been watching your makeup videos while on maternity leave! Question… can you use the same concealer that you use on your face on your eyes or should it be a little darker shade?
Useful video, I do have some questions, though. Why do some of the beauty sellers recommend using brush for their foundation? Is it just marketing and getting more people to buy their foundation brush? Or does it really make a difference? Secondly, never have I ever used lash curler,🫣 although I'm happy with my lashes, I did order the one you recommended. Fingers crossed that I would not poke my eye out 😂. I did try the under painting technique today and used sponge for the foundation, and I must admit that it looks better than with the brush. Are we all being fooled into buying unnecessary brushes? 🫣🥴

Do you have a video that isn't matte finish for 40 year old women? I find that a dewy look is more complimentary for my age.
