When I was sick as a child and stayed home from school in the 70's I would watch this show. Bea Frankie and Vera where my favourite. Vera was the deepest character, I hated, loved ,excited and felt sorry for her.
When they brightened up the cellblock I think it distorted some things.it's more of a shadow. if you look at the shot when she's holding the cassette recorder at the end there is no Adam's apple.
