Hi would this make my bass come to life the di I get sounds sooo shitty and boring , or should I focus on getting a better di soubd by getting a sansamp bass driver? I imagine using the sansamp as a clean tube amp simulator then using this plug in on top of it would give me some brutal tones just wondering if this alone without the sansamp would sound good ? Thanks for your time it sounds amazing and I’m thinking about purchasing soon

Mammoth is a standalone plugin with a preamp sim. I would not run a sansamp into it, it would probably result in a really dead sound. I love Mammoth, it really woke up my rather dead sounding bass (Jackson JS3V Concert). I have gotten amazing tones anywhere from chimey cleans to whacked out grit. Amazing plugin IMO.
