- SCTV season 2, episode 11 - The SCTV 30th Anniversary Show featuring a hearing on house of un-American activities, What's My Shoe Size.
Pit Stop. I remember it well!
Both Catherine & Andrea were just so darn amazing.
SNL could never come near them today, not with 50 Kristin WIgs overplaying everything into oblivion.
You mean 50 Kate McKinnons. Kristen Wiig left the show years ago.
@@canaisyoung3601 Since when did Kristen Wiig leave 🍂 NBC's SATURDAY NIGHT 😴 LIVE?
SCTV is so much better than SNL
Arlene Francis was hostess of an NBC mid- or late-morning show in the early 1950's, with the word "Home" in it, if I'm not mistaken. I was just a small kid at the time. Does anyone remember?
From wikipedia: "From 1954 to 1957, she was host and editor-in-chief of Home, NBC's hour-long daytime magazine program oriented toward women, which was conceived by network president Pat Weaver to complement the network's Today and Tonight programs."
Pat Weaver, FYI, was the father of actress Sigourney Weaver.
Earl's father turns in his own mother. Haha!
Liverboat! Haha!
I believe both Arlene Francis and Andrea Martin are from the Armenian community.
Not sure about Arlene Francis, from “What’s My Line”
She is of Irish descent.
Dorothy Kilgallen
Bennet Cerf
John Carson Daly
Kirk Douglas?
In the "Liverboat" segment, Joe Flaherty reminds me of the late John Dehner; and I'm betting that was on purpose.

Thank goodness Mr. Delaney (or someone he got the tapes from) happened to be recording the episodes at that time.
@@Metlhd313 Yep 👍🏻!
Great episode!

I love this channel, unfortunately this is from American syndication so no Great White North with Bob and Doug McKenzie .
GWN did not start until season 3. This is season 2.
Canadian TV show with.all American content and references
I just realized there's a clip of Dave Thomas as Doug Mckenzie, but they didn't do the Great White North bit till the third season. Where did they get the intro for this episode? Rick Moranis wasn't even on the show yet. What the hell is going on?
this run was syndicated after the show ended and were pieced together.
@@VHScape Thanks. That clears it up.
Back sreets to heaven or send 9.99 to box office 665; or is that 668. I can't remember.
Vladimir Lenin not Nicholai
That Dave Thomas Asian character is a real fucking bummer.
Could do without Dave's multiple Asian characters.
@@VHScape boo hoo. This was a time when people knew how to laugh
@@number62 If Dave Thomas's Asian characters were actually funny, we would have laughed. Snooze fest.

Tim Lee Tang is awesome
Commie scare, similar to the cancel culture.
But with a lot less social media interactions.
Says the alt right idiot
Nice try, but it is a lot closer to daring as a Republican to say you do not support Trump. You can be cancelled and continue your career normally, but say Trump is bad and you are done in politics
