Great place for driving and proof that you can spend 50 USD on a toy grade RC car and still have a huge amount of fun! Plus, it looks good as a display model when you are not driving.
@@briangiven7399 I have seen quite a few reviews of these where people say they bought them for 49.99 USD at Costco. Not being in USA, I can't confirm what they are currently selling for.
@@briangiven7399 Yeah people bought some of these for reselling. At $100 after shipping, taxes, and fees, they'd be making a small profit. There was an option to buy these from Costco.com but they've been out of stock for weeks now, might not come back until next year.
Haha that would be cool. I uploaded some videos because that's exactly what I needed when I was deciding if I was going to buy at the store. The F1 cars look great but I had no idea how they ran. Took a chance because it's Costco.
Very nice looking F1's. I have visited the track a couple of times. On the week ends you find guys running cars around the track. Super nice that the city has this for people to enjoy. Nice job my friend. 👍 Cheers from Murrieta.
Nice, it's definitely awesome to have these outdoor activity options in our city! :) I just recently learned about the K1 outdoor go kart track in Winchester, looks like a lot of fun too I've been watching videos on youtube!
I picked up the Red Bull… these are significantly bigger than 1/10 scale (I have several hobby grade F1 cars, and these Maistos are like 1/8 scale… (I’ll have to take measurements to actually check)
Oh yeah it would be interesting to compare to other models! Might be interesting to measure and compute as well. F1 drivers have been complaining that the cars have gotten too big so it could still be to scale.
@@BlossomBlox-w5g at Costco, but I didn't see them at my local store anymore. Costco.com still has the RedBull, but the Ferrari is out of stock already.
Great video, and great camera work too! They are really detailed and even if they are slow, they seem like a great bargain for just 50 dollars. Just wished they also came with suspension, but oh well. This was a great video, God bless, Jesus loves you!
Yeah, lots of fun to bring the kids outdoors and try some "real life Mario Kart" as they sometimes describe it. The RC track in the park is awesome, I think a bunch of enthusiasts in the area suggested and worked with the city to have it built. It's an awesome addition since there are already a lot of courts, fields, and playgrounds not too far away.
My Ferrari goes crooked on a straight line.. The wheel alignment underneath doesn't help much. One wheel seems a bit misaligned. Did you experience such thing?
Ours tracks pretty straight. If the physical alignment adjustment doesn't work, try the electronic calibration through the remote: Turn remote to a direction and long press the engine sound button to adjust to center.
I'm using a GoPro Hero8. Older model but decent quality and size. In this video I'm just placing on top of the RC and taping it haha. But in the future I'll maybe glue an attachment point to make it easier.

Thanks for the comment! This is in our neighborhood park in Murrieta, California. It's fairly new, from what I read it looks like local RC enthusiasts proposed it to the city and played a big part in planning and getting it approved. Really cool because there are many other courts and fields in the are so it was cool that our park built something different :)
Haha, everyone knows the Red Bull will be aggressive, don't let it have the inside line! Interesting commentary on the last race about Max understanding the rules and exploiting the gray areas a bit better. Or maybe like racing game dive bomb to force computer controlled cars off the track.
I personally bought the Red Bull one and it’s really good just sayin it’s worth the price so yea it worth it for the money easpesielly cuz it’s toy grade 😂
@@derekc6425 I haven't looked inside but it's just a few screws under there. Definitely not an easy swap for a noob or casual RC user is my guess. But I think it's doable for a DIYer who knows what they're doing, I've seen people talk about it on RC message boards and it would be nice to try in the future!
I used some older GoPro Hero 8s with a foam sleeve to prevent wind noise and to provide some protection. Just quickly taped them to the halo for these, but there's potential to use some actual mounts next time.
12mph top speed. Fast enough for a toy RC, slow top speed compared to hobby RCs. Not bad for $49.99 and makes it more playable and less prone to damage if there is limited space or if kids are playing with it.

I see these listed at $100+ online. Wish they were $50, I might have been tempted to get both

Thanks! we had fun making the video and playing with the camera angles. Suspension would indeed be very nice! But still not bad for $50 indeed :)
They’re definitely fun to use, I wonder where to find spare tires? It looks like they will start degrading eventually
Maisto website FAQ says they don't sell replacement tires (nor parts), and best shot would be to go to a hobby store to find alternative options.
@@irvbikes6440 Yes that's what I thought looking on their website. I think is hard to pull them out of the car too. I don't see screws or nothing.

Is there a channel selector for the remote/car to not cause frequency interfence to each other?
No selector, the remote syncs to the car when they are turned on. Just turn the RCs and remotes one at a time.
I don't know where this was filmed, but so cool to see a park with an RC racecourse.
