I can see this are a color gradation... like go from a light blue to a dark blue or pinks to red.... or even a rainbow effect. Love your tutorials. I stay up past midnight so I can see the new tutorials. 😁
Beautiful quilt! What a fun pattern & so easy! 2 color quilts are beautiful and the results can be so stunning. My brain went into overdrive with the possibilities! In my mind I have already had at least dozen ideas for different quilts with this pattern, which is pretty great considering I just got out of bed, grabbed a coffee to watch Jenny's weekly tutorial! Thank You Jenny/MSQC for all You do to share your love of quilting, for all the inspiration & instruction. No matter what else is going on in life You are always a joy to watch & Your tutorials are my favorite way to begin every Friday :)
Ohhh Jenny my poor bank account, I thought I had all the sewing projects I was going to do this summer, then.. I saw that quilt and that color!!! Purple is a favorite and so is that pattern!!! Thanks for another great pattern and that luscious color fabric!
Wow. This is amazing to me. 4 patches and look at what happens. So easy and quick to make. I love it when the color is the background. Thanks Jenny, this is genius.
Really stunning quilt! Lots of variations could be made from this one pattern. Bigger, neutrals, rainbow, scrappy. The possibilities are endless. Thanks for another great tutorial. Your generosity is much appreciated.
Good Evening Jenny, I love your Quilt, I do love that color of the year too. man, it makes a pretty quilt with the white as the chain. If I was able to send along a whistle I would. 🤣😂 Have a beautiful weekend Jenny and please say hello to Natalie and Misty too. 🥰👍🥳 Chris
I love this color! What an easy quilt to make, and changing the color makes it look so different. Wonder what a scrappy one would look like? Sure could have fun with this one!
I can’t wait till you get another quilting video I’m watching all the older ones over and over. Oh no I think I’m addicted to your tutorials. Am I gonna need professional help? Thank you for now but hurry and make me another please. “Jk”
It would be easy to change the size by making 4 patches based on 3.5 inch strips. It also would be interesting to see what happens with snow ball corners slightly larger than half of the plain square. With the large white squares, this beautiful quilt is a 4 patch of 4 patched 4 patches. Three levels of recursion. Awesome!!! Two color quilts are a unique gem in the world of quilting.
Love this and your new Color 🤩 Got so many tops Quilt up but I just keep Making tabs and not getting them all Quilting because you and your girls keep putting out new Beautiful tops and things for us to do , Love you Jenny take care of yourself can’t wait to come and see you again♥️♥️ Thanks to all of you and all that you do for us the quilters
♥️♥️Thank you Jenny. You’re a heaven sent… I have a perfect Jelly roll to make this. Ill post the picture when done.. it really going to be magnificent!!!!. ♥️♥️
I do have a shape cut ruler - and I was also thinking that my Accuquilt would be very helpful with the cutting. I’m saving the idea for my quilt guild’s charity quilt day as it would be a wonderful and easy quilt to make in a smaller, size for children. I think a scrappy look would also be really nice. We have, tons of 2-1/2” strips already cut and waiting for a project. Thank you Jenny for another fabulous and easy to make quilt. I love jelly rolls and this color is right down my alley!!!😄😄😄
Love the pattern, don't like the so called color of the year. Who chooses the color of the year? I always wondered. Would love the quilt in another color. Great job with the pattern
Beautiful quilt. But I like the dark color as the background color. Your quilt wouldn't need to be washed as much. Love your videos. I wish my mother was here to make quilt with all /he new ways to do them. My mother hand cut her pieces by hand, sew them by hand and quilt it by hand.
This is a super pattern. If someone, like me, has jelly rolls, layer cakes, and charm packs of Kona white, I would think purchasing yardage in white would not be necessary. Your thoughts? Thanks, Jenny for another great design. 🥰🧵🪡❤️
I am a new Quilter with many years to still learn a fraction of Quilting, and I just figured out what the main theme is on every detailed quilt. It’s not the design of the colorful fabrics as much as the White backgrounds to be very artistic in the Free Motion Quilting on that part of white design.I can figure out my own fabric patterns, but I am not a Free Motion (Artist!) 😞
Love the new Kona color. Do you worry about the purple running onto the white when you wash it? I’ve had some Kona colors run. Do you prewash you dark colored Kona? Or do you rely only on color catchers?
Is there a list of previous "colours of the year"? Can you order once a year has gone by? I did get a pack of 5 inch in this year's colour. Now I'm going to have to save up for yardage
The color of the year goes back a few years for Robert Kaufman 's Kona line. Here's the quilt Jenny made with last year's color, Horizon. ruclips.net/video/qBfsrtiaTMs/видео.html
I'm always afraid to use this kind of bold color. I had color run allover white once and it was heartbreaking. You can't wash pre-cuts. Are these colorfast or guaranteed by the manufacturer?
I’m very new to quilting and sewing for that matter. As Jenny was preparing her white fabric for cutting she said to make sure the dots line up. What dots is she referring to?
My son is 7. He heard your voice and says is that Jenny? Cute. You've raised your kids and are raising ours too.
cute
Oh I love the color
Purple is my favorite color
I wanna Make this with Blues for my Great Grandsons!
Oh Jenny thank you for everything.I now chain piece. I learn a lot from you. I’m sooo excited how I’m making pinwheels. ❣️Joanne
I love the purple being the main color. Such a fun pattern

Me to... started @ 0150 this morning, in Northern California.
@@nancy-katharynmcgraw2669 I can imagine that will turn out stunning!
Like an ombre, what a great idea!
I love the quilt with the purple background! Gives an entirely different look.
Beautiful quilt! I like the darker shade as the main color! Thank you Jenny!

I'd put a Philip Jacobs big floral print on the back to make it reversible. Love the Cosmos with white background 💞
Love the purple version 🥰 These ‘what if’ adventures are amazing 🤩🇬🇧
Ohhh Jenny my poor bank account, I thought I had all the sewing projects I was going to do this summer, then.. I saw that quilt and that color!!! Purple is a favorite and so is that pattern!!! Thanks for another great pattern and that luscious color fabric!
I love the purple one.

This color is so beautiful!
I am a #teampurple 💜 girl 👧

Jenny this was so easy and so beautiful! Thank you.
Another Gorgeous quilt!! Thank you Jenny! 😍
I love this color! What an easy quilt to make, and changing the color makes it look so different. Wonder what a scrappy one would look like? Sure could have fun with this one!
I'm thinking a great baby print with a cool background and make the quilt slightly smaller would be a great baby quilt!
@@olivemiller4805 That would be cool too!
I was thinking scrappy or bright solids.
I was mentally going over my horrendously huge scrap pile in my brain thinking this would be a great stash buster! 😊 I love how quilters think!🥰
@@wendywestre7281 RIght? I think all quilters come up with some awesome ideas. Plus, use what you have!

Love this color & design.
Loved the pattern & the color! I'd piece it both ways one for the front & one on the back making a reversible quilt
All your quilts are so beautiful!
Beautiful colour, beautiful quilt. Thank you Jenny.
♥️♥️Thank you Jenny. You’re a heaven sent… I have a perfect Jelly roll to make this. Ill post the picture when done.. it really going to be magnificent!!!!. ♥️♥️
oh wow I have batiks in a jelly roll
it's an absolute treat to watch your videos 😊 this quilt is so simple and sweet, surely will make it !!
Great video. Thanks for showing it with the color as the background and vice versa. It’s amazing what a difference it makes.
I'm loving this quilt Jenny. Thanks for sharing again with us, it makes my day !!🤗🌹🌹🌹
What a stunning color. The white with the purple looks like lace or when you fold up paper and cut holes out and open it up.
Ooh, wouldn’t it be pretty in Jenny’s Antique Lace quilt pattern, too?
That’s what I thought of when I saw it!
Yes, I agree, I remember folding the paper, & cutting it into several doll's or snow flake's. (Smiling)
That pattern is awesome & the color is magnificent!
OMG I love both, Purpleis my favorite color!
I am wearing a shirt with the colors and have a similar pattern. I love the blocks designs and colors. Very appealing to the eye.
To make cutting so much easier, I sure recommend the slotted Shape Cut rulers.. way faster than cutting traditional strips with a regular ruler...

I like the 2nd option because there is more color.☺
Love the color thank you Jenny.
Gorgeous color and quilt! Also in the purple color way which is my favorite 💜 color
Love this! Whoop woop!
Beautiful!! Thank you!
Absolutely love this color!
Jenny you’re beaming! Love this👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🌹
I like how the second layout. Thanks for the tutorial.
Beautiful. And easy to complete. Thank you. ❤️❤️
I love the alternate!!❤️
Love this quilt
Love the colour of the year and this cute pattern♥️🇦🇺
love it so much and in my favorite color too! yep perfect!
So pretty, thank you for sharing
Beautiful quilt and great tutorial as always
Love this
I was trying to tell you to reverse that one square. You did…I guess you heard me!! 😁. Interesting pattern.
love it
Very pretty
Another gorgeous quilt and no hst🤣🤣👍👍
This would be cool with a multi color batik for background and black as the 4patch color
Silly me! I thought cosmos was the color of the flower.... Space didn't occur to me. I love two color quilts and this one is gorgeous!!!
You are just unique and florally inclined!
Stunning idea 💡 and all kinds of color variations. Thanks for great tutorial 🧵🪡

I was thinking a version with black or very dark blue background and the center white could be a glow in the dark fabric.
I also love the idea of a dark "sky" and light "stars". More like looking in a telescope!
Cosmos is a flower that is that exact purple color. Probably where they got the name.
Love the new Kona color. Do you worry about the purple running onto the white when you wash it? I’ve had some Kona colors run. Do you prewash you dark colored Kona? Or do you rely only on color catchers?
Jenny, where do you buy your cardigan jackets? ♥️

Hmm...I thought the color was named after the flowers, not the space thing. Beautiful quilt, either way.
What is the sewing machine your using like the pressure foot
💗💗💗

i’m at tulsa ok i want to learn
Jenny? What BL are you sewing with?
You don’t use water in your iron?
Yes, there was water sloshing in the iron on some of the close ups.
What? No scrappy version?
Hi.
