It’s funny with your tutorials because sometimes I don’t really care for the patterns but you always make them more interesting and pretty by your color choices. On this quilt I love that background cream with gold metallic. It’s so pretty! It really made the quilt so much better! You’re so fun to watch Donna! Thank you 😊

Just Stop making so many beautiful quilts! (LOL) I am new to quilting (9 months in) , but already have 8 projects to do on my runway because of your inspirations. This quilt is not in colors I would have ever considered, but WOW, did it come together beautifully! I love watching with cup of coffee in the morning. And please keep showing customers creations because that is just as inspiring. Your videos rock and I echo many others in saying you make the quilts simple to make. Really don't stop what you are doing!

Oh Wow Donna, i am not a out there kind of a person, liking quiet, blending in to the background type of a person, but oh this beautiful pointy star quilt is just gorgeous when you see it all finished. The burnt spice back is just perfect for drawing out the colours in the stars. THank you flower for another wonderful project. Norah, Glenochil Village, Central Scotland

I love your color choose. A lot of times, you use colors I would not have thought would look good together. But in the end, they are gorgeous. Thank you for opening my eyes to different color schemes and better ironing skills to make the quilts come out accurately.

I'm a little behind giving my pointers. 2 years to be exact. I cut my background squares at 10" & cut 2x on the diagonal. This made the block less wonky. The pattern's way has 2 bias seams sewn together making it very stretchy. I also cut my strips using a 30 degree line getting one extra piece per strip. I made a template from cardboard for both sizes. With the price of fabric- I have to conserve as much as possible. I used 6 fewer strips (queen) than the pattern called for :).

I love your videos Donna. Don’t change a thing about them! Seeing you come in from the parking lot (see comment made by GH earlier) makes me feel like i am walking in with you and you are sharing your time of pattern and fabric selection with just me! I am right there with you, learning from your thought processes! Also, thank for you making a video of this pattern. I watched Daniella demonstrate this pattern when she first released it to the Strip Club and I was NOT able to follow along. The fabric pieces kept falling off her “wall” and I could not see the strips that were white against her white “wall”. I watched it several times but just couldn’t follow. I didn’t think even having the pattern to read along would actually help that much so I requested you do a video on this. THANK YOU! I think after seeing the actual process on your video, I actually can do it. Beautiful quilt in the end! And I agree with some other comments that it would make a beautiful quilt in Christmas colors or in blues/purples with silver accents! Thank you for your inspiration!
