I teared up when i first seen this seen in theaters. You can really feel that last line. And it's crazy that it led to Strauss hating Robert just because Albert ignored him. Although it might not be historically accurate but it was known that Strauss has a fragile ego.
I just can never get over the quality of this movie betwen the shots the actors and especially how good the cameras have gotten and the color grades. No movie even comes close to this one in terms of being so clear like almost the quality of my eye balls. Wish all films were like this.
Because it’s shot in new IMAX format. Typical movies are shot in 6k-8k. 8k is the resolution of our eyes. Big budget movies with imax are shot in 12k. Oppenheimer was shot in 18K resolution 70 mm film. The most clear film for recording ever devised.
The feeling of leaving a theatre and knowing you just saw a new favourite movie of yours having to wait for next release was a feeling almost lost on me. Absolutely incredible piece of art by Mr Nolan
