    How did you get sound on yours. Installed mine and suddenly there's no sound on anything, not from Spotify, Radio, or anything from the FM transmitter. I'm at a loss.

      @@allsan6 retrace your install steps. Check that you didn't unplug something by accident or plug into the wrong spot. Also try a hard reset of the car if that doesn't resolve it.

    My unit just shipped today, hope to get it in a few days. I went on Facebook to message you, but couldn't find your post, etc. Wondering if you had any mounting pics of the actual unit. I'm extending the HDMI connection to the armrest, and I'm wondering if a right angle adapter would give me more room. Hope to hear from you!

      I took a break from Facebook for a week. Deactivated the account. Best spot I found was the passenger side of the center console near where you put the cabin air filter. Anywhere else it won't fit well for me because I have a box already in the right side of the passenger foot well . However that might be a good spot for you to mount yours and use a king extension HDMI to run it under the glove box and to the side of center console for cleaner install

      @@MarkTBencze did you have enough room to plug in your HDMI cable, etc. into the unit? Would a right angle cord or adapter have helped you any?

    • @MarkTBencze
      @MarkTBencze  6 месяцев назад +2

      @@stephen.segari I use an extension cable so that way the box stays hidden. I run it through the bottom of the console and out the drivers side and sits near where my right leg is. Honestly I should make a short video showing my set-up. It's fairly clean

      @@MarkTBencze Thanks for the 25% off! Excited for that next video showing how you tucked everything in. How are you enjoying it? Any issues so far? Not much info on these out there yet. Raymond over at EVoffer has a pretty decent install video but on an AMD car. Im really hoping that it all works seamlessly.

    Seriously considering getting this, can I ask does the autopilot still work when it’s in Picture in Picture mode?

      You should not do that as it is likely not legal... but yes you can if you want

    I have a 2021 Intel. The only thing I didn't see was which plug was the CAN since you already had something hooked up to yours. Where did that plug come from exactly?

    • @MarkTBencze
      @MarkTBencze  5 месяцев назад

      So that plug is up. Basically beside the glove box. It is the same plug that you would plug the ingenexet mod into. And that's what I have mine plugged into. So if you look at any of the videos on how to install the ingenext module, that's the one you need to plug it into

    what happens when you touch on the screen while the hdmi signal is output? does the touches fire in the "original" signal?

    • @MarkTBencze
      @MarkTBencze  3 месяца назад

      Yes. You are still able to control the screen albeit blind. Not that it's something one would want to do on a regular basis. The HDMI interface is essentially an overlay. Easy to switch back and forth though if you need to.

    Any cons to this setup, does the audio and video sync perfectly? I realize it won’t via Bluetooth. Is it perfect with the fm transmitter? How about audio quality at higher volumes or static. Are there any cons to this? Seriously thinking about getting one but it’s $500 not $200, so kind of skeptical. What would you rate it 1-10? Is there really a 25% offer like someone mentioned? That would be awesome. This looks like the same setup they are using in the police car builds, any insight on that? Thanks for the detailed videos.

      Audio synced perfectly with FM transmitter. There can be static at times but not often and not enough to bother me. Other than that it works perfectly for me. Absolutely love it and happy to have it. Idk what you mean about police car builds. But I'm happy with mine still

      So there is a police car builder. That uses what I believe to be the same or similar product on their police cars to input the police laptop to the Tesla screen.
