I think anyone who this would benefit from a the harsh divide of STEM and Humanities would probably would harshly separate themselves. That being said, I’m a humanities man, and I think everyone should at least have the thought about it in their heads.
I’ve cut this down a little bit, but I’m keeping the main bits because Gacha is a blessing. Genshin isn’t pornagraphic innately. People use their imagination on that one. Or google. Honkai (at least the impact one) is pretty jiggle physics heavy, but the story is peak, and I’ll stand by that to the grave. Not sure about Star Rail personally because I didn’t partake. The Arknight stuff is kind of the lowest form of the said entertainment. Kind of on the level of Raid Shadow Legends. I’m sure there are some good western RPGs on the phone too, but phone stuff tends to lend to bad microtransaction land.
I’d say Nikke is the worst possible game, but it has 2B and every game with 2B is the best game ever made. Thank you PUBG, Nikke, Rainbow 6, Naraka Bladepoint, Gravity Rush 2, Final Fantasy 14, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, Star Ocean, Dead Cells, Soul Caliber, Valkrie Anatomia, SINoALICE, Punishing Gray Raven, Last Cloudia, D4DJ, and Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising.
Now on this week: anime would have me believe that maids are very common. I’m pretty sure they all have guns and weapons too.
I think I’ve mentioned recently, but we’re very lower to mid middle class on combined salaries hitting around 100k just due to housing. I actually just saw something shared by a realtor mentioning that “middle class houses” require a salary of 120k right now to be considered due to the high interest rates. I honestly don’t know who that is helping to have it that high. It definitely doesn’t help people live in houses, but I’m about 100% sure that isn’t the goal for people in power.
I didn't think a "running" and "toilet" story would be so clean. Usually when I mix those two for a story, it is not the same. I felt the need to mention because I had an almost “running” + “toilet” story this morning. Thankfully I was fast enough not to have anything of note to say.
Y'all have some bad wallet luck. Is this a Japan specific problem? Is going to Japan gonna make my wallet fly out of my pocket and run away? Sounds like a big issue. Might need to be an episode. “Where do wallets go?”
If I man is shaving for flossing in the bathroom, they're looked at like their weird. I've seen the occasional toothbrush guy. They exist. Still weird. Culture says to make them feel weird, and I am a sheep.
US education system is also designed to create "dutiful and efficient technocrats," or “bathroom toothbrush shamers.” Thinking too hard is a no go. Humanities bad. We need soldiers and workers. Asking questions is kind a bad thing. Pledge allegiance please.
Japan freedom of speech is definitely lacking. My first thought is the Tekken pro Tanukana who was fired for saying men under 5'7 don't deserve human rights. If she were American, she would have just made some people mad on Twitter OR people wouldn’t even really think about it. Because she was Japanese, it was a whole issue, and she stopped streaming for an entire year. It’s sad because her whole vibe is kind of “rude tsundere” and that’s why people like her in the first place. I think the thing about short men struck a cord with some people.
