Unmissable Alton Towers Pirate Takeover! What's Open And Is It Worth Visiting?

We went to our first ever pirate takeover at Alton towers ‪@officialaltontowers‬ and it was different to what we’re used to.
We knew that only mutiny bay and CBeebies land were open so we went with low expectations.
Firstly we were so impressed by all of the entertainers and it felt quite immersive over in mutiny bay with low wait times.
Over at CBeebies was different though as there was no pirate takeover there and the lines were pretty busy especially with go jetters being closed.
We had an on time and would recommend it to people with younger children as you get into CBeebies for a fraction of the normal gate price.
We probably wouldn’t go again but that’s fine as we’re not the demographic this was aimed at.
We can’t wait to get back for the full season.
