Oh we will don’t worry one thing about Creekside we don’t duck smoke unlike Miami Central and Bishop Gorman. We played Mater Dei we got are ass whooped I admit that. But now we got that first taste of them. So now we know what to do and how to prepare next time. We’ll be back.
@@Poly_Trucker We gone be alright we ain’t trippin. We gone get back in the lab and get to work. We don’t really recruit either but we got tons of kids with D1 offers on the roster and some already committed to Power 5 schools. But if we gotta start recruiting in the Metro Atlanta area tho to compete with a big team like Mater Dei or SJB.
I know Texas won't travel out of state. But, why not schedule to play North Shore or Westlake. Whatever the revenue for the game is, Texas can cover travel expense and the leftover can be split amongst the teams since Texas won't be making a return trip. It's good exposure for the players and the programs and gives the teams a chance to play an opponent they normally don't see every year.
MD and Bosco have reached out to some of those teams over the years, but were politely declined. Even Miami Central found a way out of playing MD this year. Basically it's like how college football was when teams like Troy State scheduled Nebraska and were paid well to travel and be pummeled. This HS game was a nice opportunity to get the kids out of GA for once, and maybe get some recruiting momentum going back home. If GA kids see Creekside travels to play big games/teams, that may draw more players to the program.
Creekside is only a 5a Georgia team that couldn’t make it past the semifinals last year. They would get demolished by an average Georgia 7a team. “Not sure why this game was ever scheduled.”
Nobody in the state of GA doing creek side like this tho. Don’t act like Mater dei would’nt whoop every Georgia team in the state cause they would lol.
@@huejaynus3134 The 5A team that Creekside lost to last year during the playoffs got demolished in the finals by another 5A team. “The question still remains, why did Mater Dei decide to play a subpar Ga small 5A team?”
I'm wondering why a lot of Mater Dei starters on defense didn't play? Was it just who they were playing? I did see some of the secondary starters play in the beginning of the second half.
@Qwik11Hoops I get everyone getting reps, but this was at the start of the game. They were starting freshmen and sophomores in the secondary, and their top DBs played maybe a series in the second half. Their 5 star D tackle didn't play at all, their top edge rusher didn't play, their other 5 star running back didn't play. Just curious.
All of those that didn't play at all have minor dings. (E.g., Frasier (5* RB) has a nagging injury from track season and a bruised foot; Breland (5* DL) tweaked his ankle other day.) Kahuku from Hawaii, who MD plays next week, is legit--comparable to Cen10. So, any starter who wasn't 100% suited up but was not going to play unless Creekside turned out to be better than expected.@@losdog911
Horrible sportsmanship of the Mater Dei coaches leaving starters in well after the game was decided ... I would get chippy too ... when you want to demoralize someone, if that person has fight .. they will retaliate .. which is what Creekside did ... kudos to them .... I would have laid people out for fun till I was tossed from the game ....
What is the Mater Dei starting QB doing still in the game at 41 to Nothing? If I were the other coaches, I would just go head hunting, and match the poor sportsmanship .. seriously... is this part of the ranking system? Keep your starters in to run up the score ... f that.... I would turn it into a street fight ....
see this is what's wrong with some..He is playing his position in his senior year, and you can't get these games back with your friends/teammates. Not his fault they couldn't stop a 9 route, and furthermore head hunting turning it into a street fight! Nah my guy that's the ultimate failure! How about they fight to WIN the game not players.
props for the replays at different angles

There’s no way 54 for Creekside has a 2.0 GPA. Shouldn’t have been playing in the first place
