A strategy you missed... only because it's applicable as this general... use overlords with bunkers, 1 sniper 4 rockets are WAY better than Gatlin.
I commented in the early part of the video when you kept loosing snipers. Prior to big assault build up.
Can you show a tutorial on how you did this? I'm just curious and trying to learn so basic coding

Boss General is almost like starting with China and stealing some armies along the way, but without the middle steps (and with less units). It's a blast :) Keep these coming, they're pretty cool!

Waiting for when legi somehow restores the usa and gla boss generals from LITERALLY nothing (the only information for them in the game is the protrait and a few voice lines)
i'm afraid that would require quite a bit of modding! 😅 .. also, there are so many gaps that need to be filled. this means it would end up being a full community creation that would only be inspired by the real thing, as opposed to the other way around
Gg Legi. Strange that the Tank general did not do any upgrades. I forgot if he ever did upgrade when I fought him in challenge Hard difficulty. Looking forward to part 3. :)

Did you think this is the orginal plan for boss generals ? also is there any hidden stuff in game client?
and why you didn't check the other GLA & USA boss generals? And why you don't want to create more balance version to make it playable online?
There's only one boss general which is Leang. Maybe there were supposed to be bosses for the USA and GLA, but they aren't.
@@ItsWazzaP the gla and USA boss generals only have portrait and some voice lines
yeah @ItsWazzaPPlays is right. there were supposed to be 3 boss generals, each supposedly having the strength of each faction's generals. so basically, the USA boss general would have laser tanks, king raptors, and alpha auroras kind of a thing... but yeah this got scrapped, and instead, they created one Boss general that takes bits of all units/buildings in the game
apart from voice lines, and some hints here and there in the game's INI files, and some comments/scripting errors inside some of the official maps, there's no trace of these generals. if they are to be brought to life, it would only be through a full 'community interpretation'. so... no. there is no other hidden stuff. at least, nothing that's finished/complete/playable
if a balanced version is made to have it be playable online, then *all* other players in the online community need to download the same update/patch or else it will cause instant game mismatches

I enjoy this gameplay, unlocking boss general is dope! If you load up overlord bunker with 1 sniper and 4 anti tank soldiers, the horde bonus will not activate right? So no need the nationality upgrade?
a couple things to break down here... you're right that if u have less than 5 tank hunters, horde bonus no longer applies.. however, if the tank hunters enter a building/unit with horde bonus, the horde bonus will remain active on every single individual tank hunter, until it exits the vehicle. so like that, u can have 4 tank hunters with horde bonus active (just dont evac them :P)
nationalism does help a bit with horde bonus, but it also increases attack speed by 20% if horde bonus hasn't been applied. so it's still a good upgrade to get for your tank hunters, regardless of whether u manage to get horde bonus applied or not

Bro how do you extract the Challenge-boss.big to my game installation directory? As it says so?
go into your zero hour game directory. if u see a bunch of files that end in '.big', you're in the right place. just extract the file there and that's it :)

Do you know why the Nuke general doesnt use his nukes on his map? Really ruins the challenge fighting him tbh
for real? he doesn't use them? which army do u play as? i've already played as boss vs nuke, but i made sure he couldn't fire them in time 😅 ..
Pretty sure he does, as he did on easy (yeah, I just want to play it casually)

yes, but u have to make sure all other players have the same file installed in their game.. so if everyone has boss general installed (using the same files), it's possible

Cheating AI? The helix had a gatling cannon which detects stealth.
yeah but it flew right towards my invisible unit.. there's a chance the AI knew where the invisible unit was, so it went towards it. but yes the AI cheats.. its starting cash is like $500k or something xD
bunker overlords with snipers are cool, idk why you still tried to defend with gat overlords and throw snipers at range) You should not forget that u are actually have all cool stuff
Lol going hackers in this map is such a crime man! Just take the houses in the middle as bunkers
yea good point.. i could have done that.. i dont know the exact movement paths of all his tanks though. so i rather just defend my own base to make sure i stay safe :)

Most tanks are concentrated in the center, in the north they like rally and assemble but infantry does come, and from the south you also have some but one bunker is enough to stop them. The main part is from the center where the houses are, but he uses ecms so you need dozers to repair the houses and maybe distract the ecms. A large group of infantry in the center allows you to gain a huge map control very early on and have like 6-7 supplies and 2 oils
Why you don’t use air units ? 🤔
he has a lot of gattling cannons in his base.. and his gattling tanks are very powerful, so air units wouldn't work well for guarding territories either

Why legi ignores rocket buggys? They could be really effective against overlords staying behind. Artillery is cool)

@@LegionnaireGenerals Also did not understand, why you don't want to use scud. It's stronk, costs 5000, but with hackers price can be ~ignored... Maybe you said why, but i really lost it somewhere
i record when i can.. i have the recording ready for tomorrow's video, but i still have to edit it :P but usually i record 1, 2, or 3 of them in one go :)
How to use boss general?
Either DL a .big (which, is this games data) that sets her to usable [she is only marked as non-usable in the selecter] or mod the game yourself to force it to let you use her
