Tank VS Leang (Hard) - C&C Zero Hour Speedrun

It's funny how the best General Kwai strategies for speedrunning the challenges don't involve tanks.
China VS Leang runs in pretty much the same vein. Take down the power, and sweep in with bunkerlixes. She doesn't field all that much anti-air in her base at any one time, but you'll still want to beware of the odd gatling tank that can chew a hole in your army.

OKAY after 3 intensives days and loads of saves, i finally managed to beat him a few minutes before his sw launched
while my base was being destroyed
So basically i cannot comprehend how you pulled it off XD but good job

Amazing bro! When i reached this part of the challenge, I ended up conceding the game. Until I stop playing this game for over a couple of years now.
I didn't able to think of this strategy before, specially the decoy tactic you use to dislodge the garrisoned buildings. This tactic will definitely work for all chinese factions.
Can you also show a game for this level using factions from USA and GLA? I'm really interested in watching it. I think with your gameplay, everything is possible.

well with usa it was pretty simple especially with swg,
first of all, prepare to save a lot, like 9 times in a game
SAVE 1
(i did the barracks next to oil and sold it afterwards, i did airport at the bottom left once again to sell it)
just build as much as possible laser/rocket defense on the side of the bridge,
welcome the tunnel with two laser/rocket defense,
SAVE 2
build your tactics center at the bottom close to the defense close to the water, lay it on so its canon fire on the bridge,
few chinooks then sell airport
build a few airport bridges (like 5) in the opposite corner of the bridge
build sw as soon you can
SAVE 3
reset the counter with carpet bombing or whatever you can
SAVE 4
use the sw on its qg and builders
SAVE 5
you may need one extra reset of counter (maybe use one swg for this one)
finish its sw and buildings

GLA was mastery of luck and saves
SAVE 1
select builder 1 and point to money, hire 5 builders
builder 1 build money
builder 2 south of the bridge build baracks at the bottom but not close to the water
builder 3 and 6 to that area others to money
builder 3 truck building next to barracks
hire a soldier and capture
builder 6 one tunnel below the oil pump facing the bridge, send the rockets in
SAVE 2
builder 1 one rocket defense below it, wait until first attack to finish it, build an other one below
capture oil mine
build palace between qg and money, front to tunnel appearance
build tunnel facing tunnel appearance
SAVE 3
hire rockets to cover bridge, monitor the bridge to prevent rocket trucks attacks
powers: 1 on toxine rocket, 2 on soldiers, 3 on money
hire 1 toxin rocket to cover mountain from rocket trucks and one radio
SAVE 4
build more rocket defense around the oil mine 3, at the bottom of the mountain (it is decoy for planes)
build scuds at the corner opposite of the bridge (be careful 8 shall fit in your base in the end)
build 2 markets next to the scud, at the bottom, buy radio
SAVE 5
i ve found out that to reset it's better to kill guards and capture, it requires about 45s and its about at the time you can do it 😲
SAVE 6
continue building scuds, next to the markets should be room
use your scuds to destroy airports 1/3 top right and other stuff
SAVE 7
then sell truck building and place it at the bottom of the mountain where the tunnel appeared, meanwhile build scud
remove barracks build scuds
SAVE 8
once money is out, sell and place palace there instead and sell palace, one more room for scuds
displace qg more close to the mountain and there is your final spot for scuds
SAVE 9
once your confident you can shoot all of the qgs at once and builders, DO IT
then do a last reset and finish of the base

You can tell the difficulty from your starting money. $10k for Hard. Plus the Migs are mostly hitting the oil derricks on the right side of the map.
