As always good one
As always, what did you like best about it? :)
Nice one!
Thanks! What bits did you like most?
Great insight, so you are saying that T1 should secure (and hold) territory but not so much as to provoke the enemy techers into T2 production? This extra metal income could swing the game for your team as it takes pressure of your teams techers. Am I understanding it correctly?
Not quite: rather, buy as much time for your own techers to eco - most effectively done by going t2 yourself off the spoils of war (reclaim & added territory).
In many cases, simply having an advantage or even simply existing can be enough to provoke the enemy techers into T2 production, because as long as you're t1 with a t1 army, you're easy pickings. They can quickly break down t1 porc with tech 2 artillery, or t1 armies with t2 assault/raiders, leaving their front line with a significant advantage over you, and, again, winning reclaim for their own eco. You *want* them to feel the need to build t2 units to defend their front, you just don't want to roll over and die the instant t2 units get there. Approximately every minute you buy your techers, buys them 10-15% more eco - so by a) not dying (or being under any imminent threat) and b) forcing the enemy techers to respond, you buy your team an eco lead over the enemy which can compound and win the game.
Does this make sense?
@@MasterBel2 Thank you, I got it now. I'm a little ways off being able to transition to T2 seamlessly to offer that particular help, but every day is a school day in BAR. Thanks again.
