Wonderful! I was fortunate enough to attend the wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery here in the US, which is a wonderful sight to see and an excellent memorial (extremely somber but fitting), but otherwise, unless one cared about history, the significance of 11/11/2018 seemingly went largely unnoticed. I love the Brits' pomp and circumstance around celebrations like this, and you can't not know what's going on! British military bands are a sight to see, I really hope to visit one day and catch Beating Retreat or some other large event.
Along with Beating of the Retreat, try and get to see the Royal Marines Massed Bands doing the Retreat as well they are the U.K.'s best military band and I'm an ex-squaddie not ex-Royal Navy or Royal Marines.
you all probably dont give a damn but does any of you know a way to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost the password. I appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Thomas Reuben thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Moving. My grandfather flew in action on the Western Front in 1918. I cherish his stories. Also my father who was a paratrooper in WWII. It is however this kind of stirring music that sent sent thousands to imminent deaths. It is 2018.
I don't think the music is to blame it's the greed and desire for power of a few men (the Kaiser tzar and Hitler) and the cowardice and like of foresight of another much larger group
The quality of the music, the terrific close order drill and the wonderful uniforms are all a fitting tribute to the enormous number of British casualties in WWI. May those brave men RIP forever.
I can't believe how you seemed to be at the right place when each unit started playing their music! Guess you have done this more than once. Great sound and stereo effects, made it seem like I was standing their watching the parade go by (which I wish I was).

The order is completely screwed up. The Life Guards are the most senior regiment, so the should be ahead of any of the foot guards.
