I’m curious, this or the t7?? This transalp obviously isn’t stock, are you running different fork cart ridges or just different forks? Also, what rear shock?? Very interested to know how you compare the t7 and the transalp after extensive modifications

This one has "custom" suspension, a cut down screen, full tail tidy treatment, custom exhaust and muffler and full sticker kit. Might also have had a re-flash as the stock runs way too lean. Can get around 20% more torque/power with a proper map. The engine is an absolute bombproof ripper.
Clearly, it does not behave nearly as well as the old Transalp Boano - see the videos of that. 25 years of "development" and they come out with a worse bike. No wonder they are last place on MotoGP for several years already.
So you have more money in a Talp than a KTM, but still not as good. Why would you spend all that money to make a street touring bike an Adventure bike.
@someguy5035 I also have an 800DE that never needs the shop and can handle hard core off-road stock from the showroom floor.. The Talp, riden like in the video, will need the shop plenty.
@dalton.riders OnTheBackWheel and BigRockMoto to name a few stock 800DEs and ZERO issues. Talp owner's are just jealous that we 800DE owner's can actually get in the dirt.
This is hardly a stock bike. The stock Transalp suspension is absolute rubbish. How do I know? I own one and have heavily modified it to make it safe to ride hard on and off road.
