It's crazy how much the atmosphere of the conventions changed over the years. Like the older ones seem so much more odd but it could jus be the quality of the videos idk. Love the video tho!!!

Great video, I joined the fandom back in 2012. I found it on accident while trying to build a cosplay. I was obsessed and watched every single con video I could. It was crazy getting to see some older suits I don't see around anymore in this video. I love how far the fandom has gone but I'll still be nostalgic for the 2010-2013 suit styles as well as the party atmosphere, here's to seeing where we are in another ten years
Yeah, I joined in 2019 and looking through old videos for this video was a journey for me to see how it changed myself. Started off as a video idea and became a learning experience.
Its Crazy of How much the anthrocon changed over the years, i love It!!
Part of my favorite thing about this is seeing the progression of fursuits through the years. It's nuts to see how much the craft has grown in skill, style, and quality.
It's so wild seeing the entire fandom just adopt a new technique the moment a maker figures something out with how much smaller it was then. Now you can't even keep up with every technique, style and methodology that is only a statistically small portion of the fandom!
The expansion of the fandom from 500 attendees at the first Anthrocon to this years 13k is insane to think about!
The jump from 2022 to 2023 is crazy! below 10k attendees to over 13k the next year the attendance jumped about 4400-4700 in only a year maybe it’ll be 14-15k this year who knows
2009-2010 ERA WAS SO CRAZY!! I would liked to be a furry in these times, or i would ABSOLOUTLY LOVE THAT WOULD CAME BACK! the songs are just amazing, the amazingly insane dancers, its just a masterpiece i would trade my soul for these eras 😭
I only became a furry in late 2018 joining the fandom back then would have been interesting with the internet still being pretty new the only thing I remember doing in 2010 was playing on the playground at my old school us having our pictures taken then 2011 I was playing super Mario galaxy 2 on my old Nintendo Wii when I was 8 thats what I doing back then xd and the music is banger in the 2009 one!

2007 ITS CRAZY NOW WE NEVER SEE THAT CORNER WITH NO PEOPLE and we have 1000s of photos taken also the 1 side is a bike lane now i think we changed that in 2018

Great video, the evolution of the fandom is always interesting to see. It was so much more… Adult oriented back then. I kinda miss that, lol. Now I have to find adult-oriented rooms or fur meets so I don’t have to interact with kids lmao
