As I am from a third world country - Sri Lanka where tennis is not considered as a popular game I suddenly had a chance to watch Shanghai open -2013 or 2014 and it was played Roger Federer with Andy Murray. Of course I've heard Roger Federer I watched a complete match he played then and Murray defeated him. But his calmness and how he bear the pressure of the game made me to follow his games and obviously I was a huge Federer fan and always watched every games he played after that. A true legend and a real gentleman. I think there are so many around like me. It is true he is inching towards his retirement though at least he deserves one more win(Grand slam). I think we never ever being tired watched him play and these interviews are really inspirational. I never think there will never be a lovable player like him. But before he leaves, I'm desperate to see him play and win against Novak. Anyway he is the real GOAT...

Federer, Nadal and Djokovic are legends. Almost certainly the best 3 male players ever.
They've won 59 (and counting) Grand Slams between them in the same era, they've dominated in a very strong era which has included Murray, Wawrinka, Del Potro and Cilic (the other Slam winners from their era). They've done it with style, class and sheer brilliance yet all seem such decent people too.
Who's the greatest? Dunno does it really matter? They've made and defined their era and all needed each other to do so.

For all the haters out there, it's all about the fact he is well-spoken, got tremendous communication skills and use sincere vocabulary and tone to pass out the message. It's all about communication. That's add to his magnetism as a human being and athlete. Let's not even talk about the unreal tennis skills that he showed throughout his career. U can't deny him that. A Roger interview vs. Nadal interview vs. Djokovic interview are not to be compared. They all have their style. I can easily rank them 1st for Roger - 2nd (and super close) for Djokovic - 3rd Nadal because of his lack of deepness in his answer. Despite that, Nadal shows sincerity and natural likability when he talks. His accent in english makes it even more likeable and funny at times when he expresses himself badly, even tho his english progressed extraordinarily throughout his career. Novak, on the other hands, gives unique insights about his nutrition, trainings and so on: he is very well spoken indeed, fast learner with an amazing ability to master foreign languages. What he showed throughout the years as evolution in his french language at Roland Garros is just amazing !!!! The 2021 edition, damn the guy is almost fluent which is impressive.
All in all, credit where credit is due: The guy will easily be the most likeable Tennis commentator when he retires !

Buonasera
