Well, it could've been much worse for you ey!? Glad no harm done 👍🏻 trails definitely got better, worth another visit? Not been Whitby in years, love the place.
Definitely worth a visit up that way. Whitby is ace for a few days sightseeing and chip eating. Fair few places around for riding too. Next vid is Dalby off piste some ace stuff there but frustratingly the conditions were tricky.
Well you silly billy for forgetting your brake pin 🙈 Thst could have ended in a world of pain! Glad it didn't, and the bike shop came to your rescue. Trails look great, espocially towards the end, I say great, they would still make me nervous no doubt! Great video mate
Sketchy trails ridden the right way, not sketchy otherwise 🤣 great video mate, such a shame about the front brake, lucky too I guess, great looking trails 👍🏻
A perfect summary really that. So disappointed I didn't get to ride the other stuff. I had planned to ride another 5 or 6. I would have been totally cooked though. It's a steep bit of a hill that one. Definitely a great place to visit if you're up that way. Cheers Ant.
Great video Jonathan lucky to finish the ride with the brake issue! Trails still a bit muddy we need some June sun to bake them so you can kick up dust! Nice to see the Flaremax getting an outing! Classic shot by the Whale bones at the end. Where were all the goths?
Cheers Paul. Totally agree, be ace to be kicking up some dust out there 😎. Good times x it up with the bikes and great to be back in the FlareMAX....bit easier on the body 🤣
@@readikus the top of that first black trail was ridiculous. Just needs maintenance really. I shouldn't complain really. Still loads of great stuff there and I suppose some trails go out of fashion 👍
@@MTB_Derbyshire Absolutely wasn't meant as a moan, just an observation. We have much of the same issue around here - I imagine there are some other trails somewhere nearby that are getting more attention.
The amount of slop.was frustrating, also the fact it was bone dry in other parts, very inconsistent. Made it very difficult to get speed up. Certainly the trails there are really good though and I saw a fraction of what is on offer. 👍
@@davidcoomber4050 Thanks for watching. What an interesting comment I mean, it's a very technical place to ride and with a faulty brake pretty sketchy. I will add, your comment comes across as a little barbed, shall we say.. If I'm wrong then consider your phrasing in future. If I'm correct and it's meant as a dig then consider the basis on which you make it, for you may find you're standing on sand.

You live (thankfully) and learn 🤣.
@@MTB_Derbyshire well, you think you would, but ...
@@ElectricMountainBiker it's just something I heard someone say once. You're right though, never happens 😜

A really interesting place to ride. Tons of trails and variety. So frustrating that it was cut short. Cheers 😎
Great video mate, certainly looked challenging later on (especially when your brake failed 😂).
The black trail escalated somewhat 🤣. So annoying the brake thing but ultimately thankfully it didn't cause any serious crash 😬
@@MTB_Derbyshire that trail looked the most interesting of the day, possibly not with a knackered brake though 😂
@Stopadoodledoo yes definitely up your street that one 👍
Great Vid mate! Never been here! Some of these trails look ace, some looked a little neglected and some look to wet for this time of year! 👍

Rode there in 2020, and had an identical experience. So much potential, so many weeds!

Don't worry I didn't take it as a moan. It is the way of these things 👍
Still too much slop for this time of the year 🙄 look decent tho 👌

Accident looking for a place to happen 😂
